  1. Thales so you would have entered around here on the eu. Did I hear you right about the last trade. Keep selling more and more(on the ej) So you wouldnt be just scaling out but you would be scaling in too! Please correct me if I am wrong.

    Thanks

  2. The next smaller time scale offered no good opportunites before 14:30. One coud only grab 3..5 ticks in small moves.

I did not take the Short at 3, no idea where it could be filled.

Even after the big move down, one was immediately thrown back into the small degree. This is the market, just accept it.

Hmm, I did!! In the EU.

  3. The principles discussed in this thread apply also to German Bund Future; a 10y treasury future; 1 tick or 0.01 point is 10€.

An inner Darvas box is formed by points 1, 1a, 2, 2a .

An outer Darvas box is formed by levels 4 and 5 .

When one goes short at 3, the intension is to cross level 4. Therefore the stop has to be at level 5 not at 3a, which belongs to the inner box.

After crossing 4, the stop moves to level 3a.

Could you post a 4hour chart or a Day chart.

    Thanks

    Don

  4. I didn't say you were knocking it. I just thought that your request that I post a losing trade somewhat off the mark. After all, if I am posting the trades either before the entry triggers or soon thereafter, how can I determine before the trade is over whether or not I am posting a losing trade or a winning trade?

    Best Wishes,

    Thales

You cant, but I will soon see. So how much of a move would you wait till the next trade. 50-100pips. Is that about right?

    Thanks

    Don
