  1. I couldn't agree more Browns, I think I'm actually getting to that point - which will also be why I'm starting to see success on a much more regular basis. Committing to your trade and seeing it out can go a long way to reducing stress and the urge to give-up long term as well. For every losing trade, the knowledge that you followed your plan does help a little. On the other hand, breaking with your system may have an even worse effect and play on your mind (and hamper performance) for future sessions... Confidence is a huge factor and I personally believe your posts elsewhere (about taking every setup presented) were correct as well. Maybe the difference between the Pro's and the rest of us is using discretion to increase Edge, but for the majority consistent execution of the setup (and the plan as a whole) has to be vital in achieving success / profitability Just my
  2. I hope this thread hasn't gone dead, just yet? I have just read it this afternoon 'cover to cover' like a very interesting book and was disappointed to get to the end.... hope to hear more on how you are trading soon TRO.
  3. Perhaps if you'd read the thread you would realize that all I was doing was following questions/posts #8 and #11 as no one seemed to have bothered themselves to help those guys. Do I really deserve a lot of snide abuse? Great forum, shame the key objective seems to be massaging your own ego's and showing off rather than helping those less experienced - whether with spreadsheets or trading in general.
  4. Sorry for obviously being stupid(?) all I wanted to know was which specific cells I change as the spreadsheet is laid out with a 'summary' page but not clearly with a data entry page. I am guessing it is the middle figures between the r/s results but I thought I'd confirm. I.e. am I putting in the last hours high/low/close, yesterdays.. this weeks, last weeks? Come on, give me a break - I'm not looking for a handout, just help in using the thing.
  5. Still no one giving basic guidance on how to use the spreadsheet...? Think I'm the 3rd person to ask, thanks...
  6. I just quoted the whole post, because that is the most level headed, sensible post (trading related) I have read in a while! thanks!
