  1. Sebastian, I really enjoyed the audio/chart presentation. I deeply appreciate your generosity in teaching us. I am a total beginner to VSA. Can you give suggestions on the best way to learn this work - including books, software and other educational material. Thanks so much. Bryan
  2. Seb: could you give your recommendations on what to read, watch etc to learn VSA? Books? DVD's? Etc? And in what order? Thanks.
  3. OK Seb, thanks for that. Clicked on that link and went to the site and still don't see what to click on to download that mp3 file. B
  4. Seb, Thanks for all. Where exactly do I find the audio upload? Bryan
  5. jjthetrader: I have been reading a good deal of this thread. There is a lot of negative things said about TG. I'd like to run a few things by you. 1. Several guys claim that signals in TG change depending on the next bar. So, a signal that looks good after the fact may not have actually been at the same spot real time. True or false? 2. How is the customer training? Do we get a lot of Todd? 3. Do you see TG as an indicator based system or are a signals just a guide to use simplify and use VSA effectively. 4. Could you get by effectively, at this point, without the signals? Thanks
  6. Thanks for the reply. It was really helpful. Is there is TL discount for it?
  7. I was wondering if any of you are using TraderGuider software and what your experiences are? Thanks
  8. Saw the webinar on TradeGuider in TL. Wondering if anyone has experience with the software and they're thoughts on it (and VSA)? Thanks
  9. Traders Laboratory is terrific resource for getting both solid information as well as personal view points. I started this thread because I had legitimate questions about a specific vendor. I came to my peers here in this room for their thoughts on the subject. Indeed, I have gotten a whole range of opinions. Some, seem better informed than others. Some feel like rants. I welcome them all. We live in an imperfect world. Our forum can only reflect that imperfection. I am really pleased with the feedback I have gotten in this thread. Where else could I have gone to get the feedback and info I was searching for? How cool this place exists. As far as the vendor issue, I feel it's a non-issue. As far as I can tell, I got unbiased viewpoints by a few people who have used JP's service. I also got AllyB's thoughts on the subject. How great for a guy with that much experience to chime in positively on another vendor's service. If we can't be discriminating enough to discern between solid, un-biased feedback and self-motivated endorsements or emotional rants we probably shouldn't be trading in the first place. There is so much BS in this business. But there is so much that is real and good. We get to grow up as human beings and traders in our own ways and in our own time. The TL community, all in all, really helps. Thanks everyone. B
  10. Glenbee, Thanks for your great addition to the thread. I have been studying MP for several months. I am slowly making my way thru Mind Over Markets and understanding it pretty well. I listened to Billed Dalton's audio class. I have been watching Dan Duryea's IOAMT daily updates and other videos for the past month. I have been watching AllyB's videos. All in all, slowly growing more and more comfortable with MP concepts and slowly weaving it into my trading. Question: how prepared do you think one needs to be before coming into JP's room? Do you advise more preparation before signing up? Thanks, B
  11. Will do. Nice to connect with you. Bryan
  12. AllyB, Thanks so much for taking the time to address this subject. All points well taken. Bye the way, I am just about ready to sit down and watch your 2 CBOT videos. Take care, Bryan
  13. I appreciate the replies. I think I will learn all I can learn here (for free) and finally finish Mind Over Markets before considering reaching out in that way. For clarification, while JP does charge $400 a month, after 3 months you get the room for free, for the life of the room. Bryan
  14. Thanks so much for your honest and sincere reply and also taking the time to help a fellow trade. Much good fortune. Bryan
  15. Thanks BH, I appreciate your response. Gaining the good habits of an exceptional and disciplined trader takes time and confidence. I am so not there yet myself. Learning from someone with those qualities is as important as their successful methodology. Could you please answer a few more questions. 1. What percentage of the trades are winners for him? 2. What kind of stops are utilized? 3. What kind of guy is he? Is he he someone you enjoy spending your day with? 4. Is he a good teacher? 5. Is the room worth the money and do you see yourself in it for the long haul? 6. How well are you picking up his methods (this early on) Are you making consistent money with his methods? Thanks.
  16. Hi. This is first post at TL. I have only read and enjoyed this site in the past. I am getting more and more interested in MP and am looking for a mentor/teacher. Has anyone here been studying with JP? Does anyone trade with him regularly? Any thoughts and opinions would be welcomed. Specifically, how successful is he as a trader? (their site says he is "amazing") How successful is he in teaching his methods to other traders? What kind of guy is he? How's the vibe of the room? It's a rather expensive outlay so I'd love some feedback. Thanks, Bryan
