  1. I responded to your repeated questions regarding love. I'm sorry if my answer doesn't appease you and now you're crying foul to get back on topic. I understand dead babies are not things the lib-nuts rather discuss in the same context as love. We can get back on topic.
  2. If the lib-nuts really did care about love and compassion, they would speak up against the real atrocities going on with the children, rather than trying to take guns away from law abiding citizens.
  3. COLUMBINE STUDENT'S FATHER 12 YEARS LATER Guess our national leaders didn't expect this. On Thursday, Darrell Scott, the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton, Colorado, was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee's subcommittee. What he said to our national leaders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful. They were not prepared for what he was to say, nor was it received well. It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, and every so-called expert! These courageous words spoken by Darrell Scott are powerful, penetrating, and deeply personal. There is no doubt that God sent this man as a voice crying in the wilderness.. The following is a portion of the transcript: "Since the dawn of creation there has been both good & evil in the hearts of men and women. We all contain the seeds of kindness or the seeds of violence. The death of my wonderful daughter, Rachel Joy Scott, and the deaths of that heroic teacher, and the other eleven children who died must not be in vain. Their blood cries out for answers. "The first recorded act of violence was when Cain slew his brother Abel out in the field. The villain was not the club he used.. Neither was it the NCA, the National Club Association. The true killer was Cain, and the reason for the murder could only be found in Cain's heart. "In the days that followed the Columbine tragedy, I was amazed at how quickly fingers began to be pointed at groups such as the NRA. I am not a member of the NRA. I am not a hunter. I do not even own a gun. I am not here to represent or defend the NRA - because I don't believe that they are responsible for my daughter's death. Therefore I do not believe that they need to be defended. If I believed they had anything to do with Rachel's murder I would be their strongest opponent. I am here today to declare that Columbine was not just a tragedy -- it was a spiritual event that should be forcing us to look at where the real blame lies! Much of the blame lies here in this room. Much of the blame lies behind the pointing fingers of the accusers themselves. I wrote a poem just four nights ago that expresses my feelings best. Your laws ignore our deepest needs, Your words are empty air. You've stripped away our heritage, You've outlawed simple prayer. Now gunshots fill our classrooms, And precious children die. You seek for answers everywhere, And ask the question "Why?" You regulate restrictive laws, Through legislative creed. And yet you fail to understand, That God is what we need! "Men and women are three-part beings. We all consist of body, mind, and spirit. When we refuse to acknowledge a third part of our make-up, we create a void that allows evil, prejudice, and hatred to rush in and wreak havoc. Spiritual presences were present within our educational systems for most of our nation's history. Many of our major colleges began as theological seminaries. This is a historical fact. What has happened to us as a nation? We have refused to honor God, and in so doing, we open the doors to hatred and violence. And when something as terrible as Columbine's tragedy occurs -- politicians immediately look for a scapegoat such as the NRA. They immediately seek to pass more restrictive laws that contribute to erode away our personal and private liberties. We do not need more restrictive laws. Eric and Dylan would not have been stopped by metal detectors. No amount of gun laws can stop someone who spends months planning this type of massacre. The real villain lies within our own hearts. "As my son Craig lay under that table in the school library and saw his two friends murdered before his very eyes, he did not hesitate to pray in school. I defy any law or politician to deny him that right! I challenge every young person in America , and around the world, to realize that on April 20, 1999, at Columbine High School prayer was brought back to our schools. Do not let the many prayers offered by those students be in vain. Dare to move into the new millennium with a sacred disregard for legislation that violates your God-given right to communicate with Him. To those of you who would point your finger at the NRA -- I give to you a sincere challenge.. Dare to examine your own heart before casting the first stone! My daughter's death will not be in vain! The young people of this country will not allow that to happen!" - Darrell Scott
  4. THE REAL PROBLEM Don’t let the government suck anyone into believing that guns are the problem and they need to take them all away. Guns are never the problem. They are just a machine. They do nothing until a person picks one up. The problem is always with the person. Never the gun. How does a person sink to such a low state of inhumanity to shoot and kill children? What can turn a person into a brain dead killer of innocent children? That’s the question Obama should be asking. You need to get at the cause of the action not the outcome. The cause is whatever it is that can reduce a person to such a level of insanity that they can do something like this without any feelings or remorse and without a second thought of the consequences of what they are doing. What could possibly turn a person into such an unaware zombie? Is it violent video games? Is it movies that show people doing impossible feats of survival in violent situations? What can dumb a mind down to such an extent that the person no longer can see real people any more and loses all touch with humanity and reality? If “mind altering” drugs come to mind you are well on your way to understanding what is happening. Prozac and Ritalin are good examples. Street drugs do it even more so. A person on any sort of psych drug/street drug becomes unpredictable. The only difference between these drugs is the degree of mind alteration. They alter the mind and make people crazy. To the point where they no longer know or care what they are doing. They are not just, “off with the fairies” they become “off with the devil”. Today drugs are rife in the community. The rise in violent children slaughtering crime follows exactly the rise in the development of more and more potent mind altering drugs. The problem is drugs not guns! Get rid of the drugs and you save your child. Give your child ANY sort of mind drug and you contribute to the problem no matter your excuse. Many foods today are already spiked with pest killing poisons. These are not food for the brain. Good fresh organically grown food served with "love" (are you paying attention Ingot54?), will save your kid’s brain (and your own). Good fresh organically grown food will completely remove the need for Ritalin and all the other psych drugs they prescribe for the conditions they invent such and ADHD and other similar nonsense. Start with getting rid of the drug pushing psychiatrist and his false and invalid diagnosis and you will get rid of the greater part of these, brain dead and out of their mind, kid killers. Better still educate your kids about drugs and the real truth about how they damage a person’s brain and body. The popular idea that you are not having “fun” until you are stoned is not actually true. The only fun you will ever know is the fun you can clearly remember. The times when you really knew what you were doing. These senseless killings are done by stupid drug crazed zombies. It has nothing to do with guns. You don’t need money and prayers to comfort the bereaved. You need knowledge and understanding of what is going on to address the cause of the problem so it doesn't happen in the first place. We all need good clean chemically free food for a clear thinking mind and we need the eradication of the drug culture and the drug pushers starting with some cool calm factual education about what drugs are and what they do. Police raids do not handle the cause of the drug culture. Dramatic TV scare campaigns which explain nothing and don’t educate anybody won’t handle it either. Only when people fully understand the whole drug story and at the same time have better solutions to their everyday problems will the drug problem and culture go away.
  5. Tams, you must not know your firearms. Those weapons in your image are fully automatic weapons and are NOT legal in the USA. And, yes, that junk food garbage should be illegal in the US because the sheeple will eat anything sold.
  6. I wouldn't say there's "zilch" chance of being a crime victim, but my chances are very low for one reason, and only one reason: BECAUSE I'M ARMED TO THE HILT AND MOST EVERYONE KNOWS IT. Otherwise, I would be just another one of the sheeple awaiting to be victimized.
  7. What were the chances of the Newtown school shooting?
  8. Oh I do I already do my part to promote safe driving. I rarely drive as I'm a full-time trader at home. I may get in my car 2-3x per month. As with my rifle, the car is there just in case... :crap:
  9. Why couldn't it happen? Didn't we just witness a horrible massacre? Or, are you one of them that buries their head thinking nothing can happen to them? Why couldn't it happen? Oh, I forgot... it's my imagination. I just imagined 20 kids getting shot up in Newtown. Wow. Home invasions and rape happen almost everyday. School shootings are rare. What country are you in which doesn't have rape?
  10. I think even the most liberal anti-gun activist would be thankful to come across a firearm of any sort if he and his wife were awakened in the middle of the night by a crazed 280 lb lunatic bent on doing some damage. Would he stand by and watch his wife get raped, or use that evil gun? hmmm...
  11. Like many countries bent on retracting the rights of its citizens, the U.S. Gov't knows that an uprising can happen here and is preparing for it. The USA Department of Homeland Security has been purchasing millions of rounds of hollow point ammunition. Why? Hollow points can't be used for war because they are against the rules of war as specified in the Geneva convention. See attached purchase order PDF. As you can see for yourself, this DHS contract requests huge quantities of all the following ammunition (and much more): • Over one million rounds of hollow-point .223 rifle ammo • Over half a million rounds of non-hollow-point .223 rifle ammo • 220,000 rounds of 12 gauge shotgun #7 ammo (target ammo) • Over 200,000 rounds of 12 gauge shotgun #00 buckshot ammo (tactical anti-personnel ammo) • 66,000 rounds of 12 gauge shotgun slugs (tactical anti-personnel, anti-vehicle rounds) • Over two million rounds of hollow-point .357 Sig JPH (hollow-point) pistol ammo (anti-personnel) • Over four million rounds of .40 S&W JPH (hollow-point) pistol ammo (anti-personnel) • Over 60,000 rounds of .308 match grade anti-personnel sniper rounds (BTHP) • Plus, hundreds of thousands of additional rounds of .38 special, .45 auto, 9mm, 7.62x39 (AK rifle) ammo, and others. There are other purchase orders totaling over 1 billion rounds of this ammunition. I count enough to have a 7 year war with the American people with five rounds allocated for every man, woman and child in the U.S. The only rational conclusion: DHS is training a domestic army for war with the American people. It's obviously they are preparing for the day when shit hits the fan. I'm not some conspiracist thinking that a major uprising will happen, but as you can see, the Gov't must prepare if there is a 1% chance of an event happening. DHS_ammo_buy.pdf
  12. How many murders are committed annually by automobile? answer: A hello lot more than guns. Is anyone talking about banning cars? FACTS: Automobile killed 32,367 people in 2011 32,885 in 2010 There is another hundred thousand more hurt. Number of deaths by firearm: 12,632 in 2011 Another ironic fact: 1.2 million children killed each year by abortion... now that is worth crying over. it's friggin crazy how the sheeple are molded by the liberal media just to pass their agenda.
  13. If there was 100% assurance that future Sandy Hook tragedies could be prevented by giving up my weapon, I would definitely volunteer it. However, no such thing could ever happen because the crazies would find other methods to wreck havoc, whether it be a pipe bomb or some other dirty type bomb, the chaotic events will continue to take place. Are you suggesting we need massive Gov't control to control the sale of every piece of steel tubing, nails or fertilizer? Even if the Gov't did control those items, the crazies will find other methods. What will please you man?... more gov't control and accountability? Here's an article which shows how gun crimes have soared after England banned guns. Bring yourself into the loop with regard to the recent England gun ban passing: Gun Crime Soars in England Where Guns Are Banned - Katie Pavlich So, I'm a law abiding citizen and I want to follow your lead and I give up my AR-15 at the Gov't request. Are you really that naive to think gun crimes will cease to exists? What I see is the honest people without a means to protect themselves, while the nut jobs can have a field day with us picking us off. Bottom line: An armed nation assures our liberty and I want nothing more than to have everyone around me, my neighbors, absolutely everyone to be armed if the shit ever hits the fan. Open your eyes and look at the world around you man. My weapon exists... just in case!! As I detailed in an earlier post about with several gov'ts banning weapons from its citizens and the exterminations that later took place. Our 2nd amendment protects against EXACTLY that: 'A well regulated Militia' is 'necessary' for the 'security of a free State,' and that 'the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.' Give up that right and you just opened to Gov't tyrannical moves against your family. Give up your guns, but I'll protect my family to the end.
  14. I grew up in Indiana. Graduated Indiana University. Spent 6 years in the Marine Corps. Have since lived the last five years in Asia (China, Philippines and Hong Kong). Back in Vegas now. Did the way I grow up differ from many others here? I think we mostly all are all intelligent here and independent thinkers. Some will be pawns of the liberal media, but most of us are smart methinks. Just question everything!!
  15. Yup, we already know what its like to ban all weapons and make them less available as you put it. Look at Chicago where weapons are banned (less available). I think its a good place to check your theory: Chicago (Obama's home town) has the highest gun crime rates in the Untied States! Same thing happened in England... guns were banned, and gun crimes rates soared. Pow! Lastly, you made a point of mentioning they were legal firearms. Correct! That's the intention!! I'm for legal firearms. I never mentioned we all should be armed with illegal firearms.
  16. When I grew up, you never had people going in and shooting up a school or mall. Discipline was present in the homes and schools. Now, too many times, kids are given prescriptions to help them behave. I've always wondered how many of these kids could be helped with consequences for their behavior instead of diagnoses and drugs.
  17. When I grew up, my parents never thought to encourage us to stay indoors on a perfectly good day. In fact, they threw us out and told us to go play with our friends, which we did... and didn't have to pay to join a league in order to play baseball. When we grew up, we were scared of the other adults in the neighborhood because every one of them knew my parents very well. When we grew up, we never got special prizes for doing something half-assed.. or got parties for graduating Kindergarten... in fact, we didn't graduate Kindergarten... we just made it to 1st Grade.
  18. When I grew up, Parents were allowed to discipline us without the threat of being arrested because of ridiculous laws which may have intended to cut down on child abuse but statistics show it has only made it worse. When I grew up, law makers didn't think it was acceptable or imaginable that an educator could help get a 13 year old girl an abortion without parent consent. When I grew up it was still acceptable to be proud of the religion you chose and/or the political party you sided with. When I grew up you were afraid of disappointing your Parents or your Teachers or hurting someones feelings. When I grew up we were held responsible for our actions not taught someone else is always to blame. When I grew up Parents, Teachers and Religious leaders worked together to help Children succeed, Doctors didn't automatically write a prescription. When I grew up, we were always taught how proud we should be to be Americans and love and respect our fellow men but also, when I grew up I didn't witness the Country uniting ONLY during a tragedy and then go back to mean, hateful ways after the dust settled.
  19. No, Children do not have rights. That's the friggin problem today... most don't have respect for their elders.
  20. Not a good idea for children to carry guns, and good parenting begins in the home, not Gov't mandates. However, if that sicko 6th grade student or its parent would have pulled the trigger, I sure hope the teacher would have pulled their glock and put a bullet right between his beety eyes.
  21. Why is it so ridiculous? It's happened many times previously. Here's a short list of some recent events: • On Oct. 1, 1997, Luke Woodham, 16, part of a satanic cult, stabbed and bludgeoned his mother before driving her car to Pearl High School in Pearl, Miss., where he shot dead two students and wounded seven others with a rifle he made no attempt to conceal. He then got back into his mother’s car and planned to go to Pearl Junior High School to kill some more. But assistant principal Joel Myrick retrieved a .45-caliber pistol from the glove compartment of his truck and subdued Woodham. • On Jan. 16, 2002, Peter Odighizuwa, 43, of Nigeria, went to the Appalachian School of Law campus in Virginia with a handgun and killed three and wounded three others. At the sound of gunfire, two other students – both police officers – retrieved guns from their cars. Meanwhile, another police officer and former Marine jumped Odighizuwa and disarmed him by the time the other officers got to the scene. • On Aug. 23, 1995, a band of crack cocaine addicts entered a store in Muskegon, Mich., with a plan to kill everyone and steal enough cash and jewelry to feed their habit. One member of the gang shot store owner Clare Cooper in the back four times. He still managed to grab his shotgun and fire on the gang as they fled. They were all apprehended. • On Dec. 9, 2007, a 24-year-old gunman named Matthew Murray launched an attack on the congregants of the New Life Church in Colorado Springs that left two victims dead. A former police officer, Jeanne Assam, a member of the security team for the church, shot Murray 10 times, killing him, as he was shooting at her. Murray had killed four others at a church 70 miles away earlier in the day. • On July 24, 2012, Richard Gable Stevens rented a rifle at a shooting range in Santa Clara, Calif., and herded three employees out the door, saying he intended to kill them. One of the employees, however, was carrying a .45-caliber handgun and shot the assailant. • On Dec. 17, 1991, two men armed with stolen pistols herded 20 customers and employees of a Shoney’s restaurant in Anniston, Ala., into a walk-in refrigerator and locked it so they could rob the establishment. However, one customer was armed with a .45-caliber handgun hidden under a table. He shot one of the gunmen dead. The other robber, who was holding the manager of the restaurant at gunpoint, began firing at the customer. But he was wounded critically by return fire, ending the incident. • On July 13, 2009, an armed man entered the Golden Food Market in south Richmond, shooting and wounding a clerk while firing at store patrons. He was shot by another customer who had a concealed-carry permit, likely saving the lives of eight other people in the store. • On July 29, 2012, Charles Conner shot and killed two people and their dogs at the Peach Tree RV park in Early, Texas. Vic Stacy got a call from one of the neighbors, got his .357 magnum and shot Conner in the leg. Police arrived before any further killings could take place. The point is that often mass murders are averted by armed civilians.
  22. the concept of arming yourself is to protect yourself against left-wing lunatic nut cases. I doubt if my AR-15 will be needed to defend myself against anti-ballistic missile batteries.
