  1. Great to be back from Christmas break in the South Pacific. No hurry to get back to trading though. I see this thread is still alive and well. Oh well, the lib-nuts won't ever give up until all our liberties are taken away. By the way, according to the FBI, hammers and clubs kill more people each year than rifles. Shouldn't we banned those too? Article: FBI: More People Killed with Hammers, Clubs Each Year than Rifles
  2. Do you also enjoy murdering innocents for fun? If so, then you are part of the problem of why gun control laws should be enacted.
  3. - These are the things that need to be removed from society.............. This is the kind of crap our youngsters are playing. Glorifying murder, killing innocents for fun. Spend countless hours playing this, along with the common ADHD drugs kids are on these days, and you have a lot more massacres coming. The dividing line between reality and fantasy has faded.
  4. Well, he obviously FAILED to do his job. Just like your TSA agents occasionally miss guns and other contraband at the airport. Taking guns away from law abiding citizens will not STOP shootings.
  5. He also said that the President uses guns for protection, so why can't we protect our precious children with guns? Are our kids less important? Are guns only for things which matter? Lets see the President lay down his guns, along with stopping the murdering of innocent children with his drone strikes, then we can talk about the people laying down their guns. PERIOD.
  6. Only a moron would think current "Location" and "where you're from" are the same.
  7. I suppose its quite difficult to misinterpret the Dalai Lama's statement, or has the lib-nuts figured that out too? The Dalai Lama said: "If someone has a gun and is trying to kill you, it would be reasonable to shoot back with your own gun." I remain... a buddhist.
  8. I'm calling it bullshit. Pure lib-nut bullshit trying to change the meaning of words. The quote is in his Autobiorgraphy on page 372, not a leaflet as you put it. Gandhi wrote in Chapter 27, "The Recruiting Campaign," in his autobiography, My Experiments with Truth. Go to the library. Get the book. Read it. It's not a leaflet.
  9. Other interesting quotes: Adolf Hitler: "The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing.” John F. Kennedy: "Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom." The Dalai Lama: "If someone has a gun and is trying to kill you, it would be reasonable to shoot back with your own gun." Benjamin Franklin: Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." Thomas Jefferson: "The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes....Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.” George Mason: "To disarm the people is the most effectual way to enslave them." George Washington: "A free people ought to be armed." Thomas Jefferson: "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." Alan Dershowitz: "Foolish liberals who are trying to read the Second Amendment out of the Constitution by claiming it's not an individual right or that it's too much of a public safety hazard, don't see the danger in the big picture. They're courting disaster by encouraging others to use the same means to eliminate portions of the Constitution they don't like." Samual Adams: "The Constitution shall never be construed to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms." St. Augustine: "Though defensive violence will always be 'a sad necessity' in the eyes of men of principle, it would be still more unfortunate if wrongdoers should dominate just men." Aristotle: “Both oligarch and tyrant mistrust the people, and therefore deprive them of their arms.” Charles A. Beard: ‘‘You need only reflect that one of the best ways to get yourself a reputation as a dangerous citizen these days is to go about repeating the very phrases which our founding fathers used in the struggle for independence.’’ Ayn Rand: "We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force."
  10. I'm a buddhist. Gandhi was pro-gun. duhhhh! "Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the Act depriving a whole nation of arms as the blackest." - Mahatma Gandhi, "Gandhi, An Autobiography", M. K. Gandhi, page 372
  11. Forex doesn't have to disturb your sleep, but you must rearrange your schedule to catch the moves. For example, I live in the Pacific time zone of the US, so I go to bed at 5pm. Awake at midnight, have my coffee, go to the gym and am sitting at my computer by 2am. I trade the German DAX, London Forex session, catch the early Crude Oil and Index futures moves at 5am and usually done with my trading day by 10am. I then spend the rest of the day spending quality time with my wife and children I keep the same schedule on weekends so not to disturb the sleep pattern. I also sleep in an inside bedroom without windows with ear plugs so the kids playing doesn't awake me. Note: the above schedule/routine would be near impossible for those that love to watch evening television. Simple... get rid of the boob tube, and your income possibilities accelerate.
  12. - Hope you All have a Very Merry Christmas!! See ya'll after the holidays!
  13. EXCUSE ME, but Christianity HAS NOTHING to do with this person blogging some lessor known facts about the Connecticut massacre: URGENT UPDATE on Connecticut Shooting « Short Little Rebel Just because I'm a buddhist, doesn't mean I can't post my opinions and facts of events... and I'm a big boy to keep Buddha out of it. Or, do you feel only lib-nut atheists are allowed to post? Are you trying to take that right away too? -
  14. Exactly Tams! And, the lib-nuts will always blame the guns rather than pointing to the real problems!
  15. I don't see how the 2nd amendment can be misinterpreted. It clarifies which type of weapons in the rights as those that can be "kept and bear". There's not possible way to "bear" a F-22 fighter aircraft or a missile. Whatever you can, as an individual, keep and bear on your person should be allowed within reason of course.
  16. This link probably won't be up for long: URGENT UPDATE on Connecticut Shooting « Short Little Rebel
  17. What do you guys know about the story of Adam Lanza's father was due to testify against the Libor scandal where billions of dollars have been scammed over the last few years?
