    Locked-in Range Analysis (abbr. LRA) is the futures (Forex) market analysis method, described in the ebook "Locked-in Range Analysis: Why most traders must lose money in the futures market (Forex)" by Tom Leksey, which seeks to determine the direction of the prevailing volume of open positions, the imbalance of which will enlighten you to future market behavior. LRA looks at the interrelationship between variables on the chart in order to determine the balance of supply and demand as well as the probable near term direction of the market. These variables are the prevailing volume of open positions, the price range of open positions, and the price behavior after a breakout of that range.
