  1. Here's a piece of history for you. 5 tril of these would have been quite sizable when they were printed.
  2. Careful with that December corn contract. Roll corn and wheat to march. Whew, that makes even a silent lurker shaky. I recently looked at roughly the last years historical grain trading and it seems that the volume seems to pick up on the next contract two trading days before the first calendar day of the current contract month. For some odd reason or another.
  3. The real brain basher is how herds pay hard earned money for lies and the truth stands on his own free for all to take hold of, prepaid in full at that. The buzzards need something to eat. Imagine if they went hungry.
  4. One (myself) can't help but wonder if this isn't some sort of a scare tactic. Yet what would be the motive? How long now has there arisen the occasional ratchetjaw concerning this and nothing has ever become of it? Smells like a fat load of flying swine directed at traders to me.
  5. Sure if they have power enough to move the entire market past extremes. It would seem that there would have to exist some walls in which a wrecking ball can't even penetrate. Until it at least takes a few swings at it. I'm not into poker, but yet and still. Is it not valuable in some instances to make your opponent think that you have more power than you actually do? If so then couldn't that lead your opponent on a mystical mental wild goose chase after a goose that never existed in the first place?
  6. As far as the hedging goes, what would stop a futures broker from playing the same game? If they execute trades for you, they can execute their own trades along side you. I would assume that even though the sharks exist in the waters. There are certain maneuvers that they physically cannot do. Or even if they have dominion over most of the ocean, surely they can't devour it all.
  7. Whatever it's worth concerning chart color, I've found a shade of blue that works nicely for me, the rgb is 205 255 255. Having tried many different things since. I always go back to this.
  8. Hmm, Entertainingly after having lurked this place and others silently for quite some time. Here is where the urge to post something arises. Maybe it will take root in ears that hear. There's supposedly a statistic that 95% of traders lose money. Wouldn't it be sane to apply that same factor to what you hear coming out of all sources (books, mentors, youtube showmen, forum posters loved by many, etc..) who are eager to 'help' you? Meaning 95% of them either sincerely don't know their head from their hind quarters (yet teaching authoritatively) or are intentionally being deceptive con men for whatever their reasons.
