The trouble I find with momentum is that it just costs too dang much!
"FulcrumTrader Premium Daily Advisory Service

Or this guys momentum, which is really steep!
"CONSISTANT PROFITABILITY SET: $2500

Chart ...Best Wishes,
Thales
Maybe a 1-2-3? Doesn't really scream anything at me..

Liquor and trading forums mix oh so well.

There is no method more effective for locating intra day ( or longer time frame) zones of support and resistance then using previous areas of high volume to frame value zones. Now that is what I call a bold statement.

I know who the first handle is.... but pray tell, who is the second?Post (or PM if you like..)
The forum vendetta continues.. You guys are ridiculous.

How can you be sure of this?

Found a good .pdf on 1-2-3's on a different forum. It doesn't mention support or resistance, but I thought it would be relevant to this thread anyways..
Thales a blog would be great, keep us posted.

I am starting to think the ZF might be the most beginner friendly. From a price action perspective it is slow moving and reacts to support and resistance well. The tick size is pretty small too..

This might be the most responsible thing I have ever read on a trading forum. Are you still trading longer term S/R, or have you changed your strategy? Good luck with everything.

I subscribe to the Paul Tudor Jones two drink minimum rule. Well for SIM trading, not deutsche mark currency futures at 4:00 AM. Sorry, I just watched his documentary last night.

Based on what, besides the overall market dropping?Yeah it looked like a downtrend was starting and it was consolidating\wedging around support. Which to me equals a breakout, and I was betting that direction was with the short term trend. Wish I played that one

Browse this forum a little, there are several explanations of tape reading and using the DOM to trade. Soultrader posted some videos on the subject. Thalestrader also talked about looking for price patterns on the DOM in the Reading Charts in Real Time thread.

After clicking "post reply"
Scroll down to the area under your post, you will see a button that says "Manage Attachments"
"Choose" a file from your computer, preferably not too large
Click the "Upload" button
Close that window and press the "submit reply" button.
Easy as 1-2-3. I agree its very difficult to follow rapid-fire posting/trade calls without illustrating the underlying price action.

Not a bad idea, but for me, it has been so long since I was in Austin, I would happily settle for the original Salt Lick. Last time I was there they only had the one location.cheers
Amen, one of the best reasons to live in Austin. Some would argue the BBQ in Lockhart is better, but I am still partial to the Salt Lick. But yes, they only have one location but they bottle that amazing sauce now. Ok, derail end.

Nice dogs, but I would be worried about growing a tumor with all those monitors around

Nice advice Blowfish. I have been backpacking for a good while now and will say that South East Asia is not the place to travel-trade. I could barely get by with simming there let alone live trading. Although I did meet one guy trading forex in Cambodia... but it was pretty dicey.
I am in France now, and it seems totally feasible here. I suppose most of Europe is the same way. In my opinion the best way to do this would be to sublet apartments for a couple of weeks at a time. Relying on hotels and guest houses just won't cut it.
For shits and giggles, here are some "travel trades" I took today from my netbook (sim, mostly to keep me sharp). You should also look into freelance writing and some other online money making scheme. They won't require as robust technology.

Not to cloud anyone's analysis, but this trendline appears to be spot on..
