  1. USDJPY---> Best to stay out and not enter a trade now unless you are very long and hoping for 110 this year but otherwise it could spike to 106 or drop to 103. S&P 500 could see mid 1850's next week so with a strong S&P 500 the Dollar could rally further.

You made me think about USDJPY it broke trend line but crowing back .I think it can test trend line again . Will see on Mon maybe will go long.

Maybe 1.3555 stop three pips under , if it was taken i will try again near 1.35475 , targets 1.358

I short EURUSD stop on BE+7 pips, now it is free trade if on Mon it will pop up to 1.3570 I sell more. Am using daily charts never had luck day trading Forex.By the way this auto trading strategy I wrote long time ago as day trading, it is goes flat end of the day. Have a look.

  3. I try not to scalp, cannot sit in front of a PC all day, I look at daily charts and try to get a little bit better fill.By the way AUD/USD if tomorrow inside day with a close higher then open I will go long again.

  4. I have a short on the Aud/Usd today and its looking pretty good at the moment, I was a little behind there for a while but it looks like they were stop loss grabbing so I'm not going to panic like I did yesterday and close out.

I think I'm going to let this one run for good or bad.

As for me I am long on AUD/USD FROM 0.8894 STOP 0.8800 Target about 0.93 area. It is been in down trend for a wile time for pullback. We will see.

  5. Congratulations Youri, Mystic Forex and Obsidian. Well done to all of you. Looks like we have some close competition between the three of you. Noice to see.

Youri - I really appreciate your dropping out this time - I need all the help I can get!

Hi Ingot. I will PM you my signals ,if you win you take a credit, if you lose you blame on me. How is that?

    Youri.

First PM is coming now.Good luck.

  6. Mystic, can you nominate again for us (me) the correct time

that positions need to be closed?

I may not be around (work) and want to grab the most

strategic time, as the commodity I am trading has turned

around and looks like restoring some respect to my account.

Hi Ingot.I knew you have secret weapon, as for me I am done for now, account up 6%, if I played with OANDA platform a bit it will be better off another 4%.First trade was 400 pips up but Ididnot look 4 lots it is only 4$ insted 4000$,ooops.Travel a lot this month, come back from Thailand and went to Melbourne for few days, did not have internet. Now I am back on a coast. Be carefull with youre trades full moon is on Sunday it means a lot of friks out and fishing.I am not going against friks I choose fishing. Good luck.

    Youri.

  7. Here is a trade I entered - also prematurely.

The entry at the opening of the new daily candle showed the 7StochRSI was ticking down. The indicator later that day returned to overbought, as price rallied.

However 24 hours late the price had closed lower again, and the entry according to the strategy rules, was then valid. I didn't really gain much by "jumping the entry."

The trade remains in profit, and I expect it will also go on to make good pips yet., though nothing is guaranteed.

I am enjoying the input by other contributors - thank you for your questions. The answers from OT are very useful to me, and I am certain, others who read, but are not yet contributing. Those unasked questions can sometimes be the key that opens big doors.

I am fortunate to be using the MT4 platform that has the 7StochRSI available, but as OptionTimer said, the 8.1.1 Stochastic is just as useful, so don't lose heart over that issue. As long as you are consistently following an indicator, the long term results should be similar.

I have to say that since using OptionTimer's method, I have reached levels of trading profitability on demo (sim) I have never achieved in the past. Can you imagine how that might feel? I am planning on getting some more experience at the selection process before going live in a small way at first. I have traded both "sim" and "live" in the past, so understand already that there is a huge difference in the psychology.

The issues I still have relate only to entry timing, and whether I will persevere with early signals or not. So far this has not made itself clear to me - over the course of many trades I will know.

One thing I do want to do, is avoid situations where I experience unnecessary draw-down. But draw-down is a function of risk:reward, so to me it becomes not a question of how much draw-down, but one of managing it.

What I call "unnecessary draw-down" is draw-down that is outside system requirements - ie entries that are not system entries (timed incorrectly perhaps), or holding on to trades that have failed.

The EURAUD attached explains how I could have suffered "unnecessary draw-down."

Hi Ingot. Is price supposed to be at least between 21EMA and 65EMA? Youri.
