  1. Had a good day today, I have now covered my loss from my blowup day last wednesday. This is a breakthrough for me. I usually lose more after a bad day. Hopefully, this is a turning point for my ability to control my head. I was able to trade my strategies today and ride the trade for larger gains. I'm beginning to gain confidence in trading my methodology knowing that if I trade it within my plan, I will be profitable. This is a major breakthrough for me. Hopefully, I'm beginning to turn the corner in my trading. I always thought if I could control my head I would be able to reach profitability. I am able to follow my plan through the adversity that trading brings. In the past it couldn't, but I seem to be able to see the market even through bad trades. I hope this continues. 4-29 trades.pdf
  2. Hello Everyone, I'm starting this journal to try to instill patience and discipline in my trading. If I have to write everything down for other people to see, I may have more control. I've been trading for about 2 years and have had some success, but mostly failure. I blew out my last account by playing around too much, so I decided to put in 5K in my account and follow my rules. My biggest isssue is discipline and psychology. I feel I have a good methodology, but I have faltered because of my lack of patience and discipline when waiting for my set-ups to develop. My goal with this journal is to instill consistency in my trading. No more huge down days that wipe out my gains or take me negative on the account. We'll see how this works. I've been trading the refunded account for about 2 weeks and have taken it to around $6,500 form $5,000. I had one terrible day last week where I blew out about 1.4K, but since then I've been able to recover the loss. I'll be posting statements at the end of the day and discussing how the day went. Any feedback would be nice. I basically scalp 2 contracts for 1-2 points per trade on the ES and sometimes I'll let the 2nd position run for larger gains (I scale out). I use a 1.5-2.5 pt stop depending on market conditions and I tend to be a counter-trend trader. It's a bias I've tried to shake, but haven't been able to, so I decided to go with it. Well, attached is my statement from today. Let's see how this goes. I hope everyone enjoys reading. 4-28 statements.pdf
