  1. Yea thinking about it too... The only problem is I am confident with my current strategy, but not too sure what exactly I could use to provide Zulu signals not affected with the execution issues. :)

  2. Yea guess brokers are trying to protect their business (spread) from being damaged with poor fills. Not all do that, but many do.

I try to adapt the strategy, but it's not so easily done because I tend to enter with quick intraday momentum and the time/price window of entry is very small if you want to trade profitably like that.

Works like a charm with clients directly hooked to my broker account on a performance based fee structure (25% profit share on a monthly basis), because no such issues there.

Zulutrade has way wider client base than I personally can attract of course, but has these unpleasant issues described above unfortunately...

  3. No no, all is just fine with my own broker and my clients linked to me as a manager directly through it. No complaints.

Here is Myfxbook track record of the account and everything is reflected on Zulutrade as well (it's the same account hooked there for public track record purpose of how I trade OPM):

But what I see is followers orders often don't get filled cause their broker rejects it for one or another reason like being too close to the market or no price or something else... Pretty sad seeing them according to Murphy's laws getting filled on the bad trades and then not getting filled on the good ones. :(

  4. All is fine thanks. :)

The only issue, which I start to believe is structural is that due to Zulutrade acting as intermediary between SP and follower's broker and adding some spread on top of that as an IB precise execution of trades for followers is not an easy task to say the least.

Seems like hardly possible to do anything about it. Alpari's direct money management working like a charm though. :)

  5. I take funds under management since September (actually 1st client was able to connect in October, but anyway :) ), of course not anywhere near having 91% winning trades or similar ridiculous promises. :)

Here's my 2 month track record so far, account @ Alpari UK actually tracks performance for managed accounts (I have live clients there already connected).

Previous account @ Oanda just gives approximate overview of performance during part of August (I took a break after for personal reasons).

  6. yes they are a good broker!!!! not so much for retail, but i guess good for manual trading.

    good luck trading.:)

Thanks William, they made it so much easier to execute all trades for me and clients with the single button indeed.

  7. ohhh, and the Zipsignals does?

what is the difference between the two?

Well, compensation structure for SP at Zipsignals is similar to Collective2, membership fee regardless of the # of transactions, which makes perfect sense for swing trading systems with not too frequent trades.

  8. hey my friend how is trading going?

    winning or loosing?

Getting used to trade from the new platform while transmitting trades automatically into Zulutrade enabled MT4. :)

Also released a longer-term system on Zipsignals (not many trades there, so Zulutrade compensation plan doesn't make much sense), which is about 380 pips ITM so far. :)

  9. do not worry, in this cases when the SP reaches this level, i have seen there is the red sign popping up - meaning even if those who do not understand the concept behind will react to the color of the label - red=danger :haha:

Haha... Guess you're right about it. :)

  10. Thank you for providing us with the posts, of course nobody expects 100% winning ratio - it is actually on the opposite, whenever looses occur, just keep them to the min do not wait for the dd to accumulate or the market to turn back with you. keep this policy and we all are going to be happy :2c:

Very true... Unfortunately far not all understand it. :)

  11. Classic situation occurred today. Last couple of days I had two small losses... Well, my subscriber quickly escaped today... lliterally in the next few minutes I took the best trade since system public release.

Just want to remind everyone who's about to follow me: I trade for real, not another "trader" with 99.999% winning trades. ;)

Please, if you follow me, expect losses to happen. That's perfectly normal.

I really want to provide quality service and can make you money, but cannot help if followers flee after 2 or 3 losses.

Had to write this, because it's critical moment of successful signal providing.

  12. Thanks. I noticed indeed that many followers seem to not realize what business it is (despite any business is a subject to similar matters), that losses are integral part of the process, that losing streaks do not mean everything is bad just like winning streaks don't mean everything is great (just look at those "traders" with 95% winning trades, until... kaboom... hilarious :) )...

Oh well, I'll just keep doing it and see how it goes, didn't mortgage the soul to run this project after all. :)

  13. well you know manual trading quite different level than beeing an SP ;)

but lets wait and see how your trading will evolve :)

Yea, not sure yet which is harder emotionally: trading your own account or giving signals to people watching you.

Thanks for the support anyway, curious to see what it gets like too, quite an interesting new challenge for me. :)

  14. I agree, it's early to be sure about it, especially how it is executed for followers in reality over many trades. Not so concerned about the approach, because traded it for myself for quite some time before decided to scale up to OPM. :)

  15. really?:) nice that you share..

what's your signal name on zulu? :missy:

Just started recently, so not many trades and followers yet, but hope it changes soon. :)

CornixForex_II is the name of a system. Overall trading approach is discussed and described on my page (can be found in the profile here on TL).

    Thanks for the interest. :)

  16. Started to use Zulutrade as a signal provider, right now all seems OK, no delays or slippage it seems, but certain brokers don't allow orders to be placed "too close" to the market, which is an issue, cause I am used to trade this way, but will likely have to manually enter/exit trades on Zulutrade account to not cause troubles for the followers using such brokers as Ava and AAA...

  17. Being day-trader I like higher volatility. It actually makes trade management decisions easier, it either quickly works or it doesn't. Also during high volatility price action tends to have better defined and orderly swings...

Having said all that, congratulations to everyone with the coming Autumn, hope it brings us the typical Autumn vola!

  18. Rules are important but mistakes are to be expected and you can still make money even though you make mistakes.

Well, there are mistakes and there are mistakes. :)

Taking profits on a trade a bit too soon is a mistake, but it will not wreck trader's account all at once.

Not placing a protective stop on the other side is a mistake, which should never be committed no matter what.
