I use only Alpari Metatrader 4 platform for market analysis and Marketiva for trading.

 

I thought i was the only one interested in this broker (Marketiva). How's it going so far? I'm only interested since marketiva offers $5 free without initial deposit. So i'll have $100 with Avafx and $5 with Marketiva.

[Quick Broker Question]

Oanda is great. Also checkout instaforex, fxcm, avafx and fxcast.

 

Avafx is a decent broker i think. Thinking of opening an account with them since the min deposit is $100 and coincidentally i only have $100 to spare. Anybody here tried this broker?

[Is it possible to start trading FOREX with $1000?]

I only have $100. But i saw an EA can make around 10% daily. So if i compound my money i'll get $1000's in a few months... wish i have $1000 at least.

I'm interested in scalping. Is it a suitable trading style for a newbie? I've read that it's an advance technique but isn't it easier to catch 5 pips than 10 pips?

I want to know how to calculate pip value too...
