Hi everyone, Jason W here from the live trade room.

I am new to SST, but I have been on the MetaTrader 4 platform for a few years and I am quite familiar with it including completion of a handful of programming projects.

I will start off with a script I have been using for order entry and management that has been ideal with SST:

Instead of the normal way of modifying orders, we get to use lines for changing stoploss and takeprofit levels. It also enables you to place pending orders.

Thanks for the post Jayman. What would really be useful is a plug-in that would allow us to use the SST with tick charts. Also, different time based charts beyond what the standard MT4 provides. That would open up a whole world of new SST opportunities.

I tried a script that makes a tick chart but it did not do so well. The main weakness is there is no tick data history, so MetaTrader needs to be left running for several hours for indicators to display correctly.
