[Simple Trading Method Using Value Pivots]

This is a very simple video showing the various ways to play VAH and VAL pivot points. Very basic pivot point setups. I find these two pivots the most important pivots for my trading and offer plenty of trading opportunities.

Hi Soul,

Great vid as usual

from 10:47 in the chart where the price goes above VAL then back under - this is a head and shoulders pattern right? so the trade will always be short?

Hi Soultrader,

Thanks for the video! You mentioned rising trin and candlestick wicks are clues that the pivot may not hold. What else would you look for to give a indication as to whether these levels will hold or be rejected?

Hey JayRemy,

I would have to review the video again... but just so you know Im not much of a pattern based trader. It is my own personal belief that most chart patterns dont work and better of playing pattern failures. Patterns are initially designed for dailly charts and above... and I dont like to rely on them at all for intraday trading.

Hi SandyG,

I rely on tape heavily at key price levels. Its my own edge I have.... I use other market internal tools to give me a heads up but the final decision is always made based on tape.
