Re: [TICK Delta, Fibs, and Clusters]

Thanks Soul, this opens a new dimension in the hability to see what really is happening on this particular levels, are they buying ? are they selling ?
Now about the volume spikes with a clear buy/sell definition... I am absolutly motivated to study this particular topic with specific atention... even we can build some derivated indicators from here... I am a believer in buy/ sell climaxes, I dont know if you are familiar with Technical Analysis QQQ Trading Nasdaq 100 Stock chart S&P 500 market timing system they teach the volume surge exhaustions reversals... thought their indicators are not that good.... I believe Tick Delta can do an even better job on this type of aproach ... real nice first insight Soul... cheers Walter.

Re: [TICK Delta, Fibs, and Clusters]

Hi walterw,

Indeed it is a very interesting way to judge buyers and sellers. Very very useful in my opinion. I am definitely interested in taking this a step further and designing trading setups based on it. Alot of creative setups can be derived from this indicator. The thing I mentioned about the TTM and TICK Delta divergence is one thing I may start watching. Is it possible to combine the two and plot signals automatically on the charts?

Yes Soul, it is possible, I did play today with your idea of doing a showme study that will plot this arrows on divergences, I got stuck with the ttm formula... but nothing imposible... just more screentime...

Re: [TICK Delta, Fibs, and Clusters]

Sounds good walterw. We should open a new thread dedicated to the TICK Delta and perhaps traders can put in their input on devising strategies for this. Im trying to combine some market internal tools as well. Thanks

I've got some great plays with the delta screenshotted (is that a word?) so I'm looking forward to that thread

There's a program called MarketDelta which takes volume analysis to the next level. It's a graphical representation of price/volume. It costs about $200 a month with Market Profile and you can get a one month free trial.

Ant wrote the Market Delta Indicator for tradestation. It's posted in the indicator forum free.
