This is one of the few studies I've created with my limited programming ability. I'm sure there is a simple way to already do this already in TS and MC?

Simply plots volume bars less than previous volume bar red.....and bars greater than previous bar blue.

hint: look up the following definitions:

volume
ticks
upticks
downticks




p.s. when posting an EasyLanguage indicator, please also upload a text version. Because not everybody uses MultiCharts.

If Volume Bar > Volume Bar.1 then bar color = blue, else bar color = red
