This indicator its called "Time per Bar" .... you will need to first copy the getmachinetime dll into tradestation program folder... so you can have seconds taken into acct on the calculation.... on historical data he will only take minutes into acct, the real time data will be on seconds...
when you get long histograms means it took more time to build the bar (weakness), true is oposite, hope this can help.... cheers Walter.

I am interested in attempting to create my first EL indicator which runs along the line of this thread. I appreciate your post.

I have two issues that I face. I am unsure how to call the dll within MultiCharts that will allow seconds to be calculated.

I then want to invert the results so that the less time it takes a tick bar to form the greater the length of the histogram bar.

Any help you would be prepared to offer will be appreciated.
