What is the definition of Market Hours?
“Market hours” is a term used to describe the times at which the markets are open for traders to trade.
TradersLaboratory decodes Market Hours
Traders can only trade when the markets are open for business. These times are referred to as market hours. Market hours differ from market to market. The stock market is only open for about 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. The forex market is a 24 hour market, with the market hours divided into 3 main zones; Tokyo, London and New York time zones.
