Predictor

Mathematics of Stops: Choose Your Desired Win Rate

Recommended Posts

This is basic probability / random process theory. Thx for the post. It amazes me that so many people argue with it.

So my questions to you Predictor are 1) given that you're careful in your discussion so far, do you have statistical evidence that your techniques work? 2) if so are you willing to share that evidence - publically or privately (I'm not initially interested in the mechanics of the technique)?

dm - glad you appreciate it.. I have 2 systems at collective2 search under predictor day systematic and predictor discretionary for my results. As you realized, this is a conceptual topic. Sometimes I use this concept in my trading but generally I'm weighing additional important factors.. might share in a future article.

this only works in narrow range. we should trade only in calm market. three hours after us session and till euro session opens in narrow price range. we should put our sl and tp at break out levels. if you are excellent at price range analysis for few hours . you can make 80 percent success rate

Hi rbwaran

I realise you come from India so English is not your first language.

But your post is real shorthand

Please explain further, especially the "breakout levels part"

this method work in narrow range market. example in asian session before start of euro session. market will move in narrow price band, often this price band could be current day candle 's high and low. please take this high and low as break out price as limit and stop will be placed according to your trade. you can do few trades with aim of making 10 to 20 pips.in 1:1 risk reward ratio.
