How Do I Find Stocks That Have Been Up or Down for 4 to 5 Days?

Recommended Posts

Try writing a script for a search at StockCharts. Requires membership though, but worth it.

The search would be something like:

and [sma(20, volume) > 100000]

and [ close >* open]

and [ close < 1 day ago open]

and [ open > 1 day ago close]

and [1 day ago close < 1 day ago* open]

and [1 day ago close < 2 days ago close]

and [2 days ago close < 2 days ago open]

and [2 days ago close < 3 days ago close]

and [3 days ago close < 3 days ago open]

etc blah blah blah 'till day five or six.

Hope that helps. Stockcharts also offers free pre-defined scans which may help too.

Hello,

Is there a way to find stocks that have been up/down 4 to 5 days straight?

I'm hoping there is a website out there

Thanks in advance

hi,

see if you can find what you need here. Am posting a link to a statistic tool giving you bigger movers in day, week, etc

Hope that's help
