Ram?

How much Ram would you guys recommend when buying a new trading desktop computer?

2GB at a base and anything higher you can afford is of course better.

4GB or 8GB would be a sweet amount...and ram is pretty cheap right now. Just be sure to buy 3rd party ram...get the system with the least ram offered and save yourself a ton upping the ram yourself. Your saved money can then be better spent on processor speed etc...

I agree, when I bought my computer it only had 1gb of ram but it had slots for 4 sticks. So I went out this weekend and bought few gbs more and it makes a HUGE difference. Especially if you're running tradestation
