Ninja Trader or Tradestation

Was wanting to get thoughts from anyone whom has used both, was considering going with ninja trader, my needs consist of being able to assess volume as well as viewing market profile. Mostly I am looking at it from a swing trading stand point, appreciate any advice in this regard.

Re: Ninja Trader or Tradestation

NinjaTrader is written in C# (C-Sharp), a powerful object-oriented language that runs on the Microsoft .Net Framework. It allows your NinjaScript to do a lot more than any scripting platform just for trading. The downside to all that power is that it may be harder to learn. Great for programmers, are you a programmer?

If you want to get trading quickly, I tradestation is a better bet but the downside is you are tied in with their brokerage. Not that its a bad thing but its something to consider.

There are so many variables, what is most important to you?

Re: Ninja Trader or Tradestation

I use tradestation, and I have used the Ninja trial offer for a month. So I don't have an in-depth understanding of Ninja. I guess I find tradestation charts and graphics more appealing, but it's just a personal preference.
