Sept. 12, 2006 Trend Day Chart

The markets break the value high pivot and never look back. Why? Take a look at the TICK's. Market internals was screaming for higher.

Anytime the TICK's spend majority of the time above zero, look to buy the pullbacks. Shorting in a market like today will get you murdered.

Value high/low are market profile terms. It it best to visit our market profile forum for further understanding.

TICKS spending time above zero throughout the morning sessions shows strength. Therefore you can apply strategies that can focus on the long side. However, you will also need to be on alert on any shift in market sentiment. If the big insitutions have to sell and have not in the morning they are likely to do so into the late afternoon session.

Yes, I realised that. what I want to know is what u mean here by "ticks" in the context you used the word.

I always understood the tick as the minimum an instrument price could move. But, the context in which you use "tick" does not seem to mean that.

Please let me know.

thanks.
