Why Patience Pays When Holding Winning Stocks

Always hold your winners until price action gives you a reason not to (but dump the losers quickly when they hit your stops).

Well, I cannot yet claim to be a billionaire, but I will definitely say that longer holding periods are the way to go (at least for me).

Not only does it tend to increase my profits, but it greatly reduces my stress too, which is a huge benefit.

Just "set it and forget it" with regard to stops.

Well if you are a fan of buy-and-hold strategy always remember that "market can stay irrational much longer than you can stay solvent"
Its not something easy nowadays to play buy-and-hold strategy because economic growth becomes harder and harder..
