  1. Is it because of a small overall win-rate, or because of some specifics of trading with small accounts?
  2. It's been said all too many times: demo trading is fine for getting into this stuff, but you really can't expect it to be a comprehensive and sufficient learning tool, since using it you avoid one of most important challenges - psychological.
  3. It's difficult to be really successful when trading on news. There are always inside traders who know the news before most public, and will make major profits on it. And AFTER that you'll have to compete with fellow traders for whatever's left.
  4. Think this might be a nice chance to buy on the deep? Or is it going even lower?
  5. Really? Absolutely no point to listen to gurus?
  6. Well, that's quite an inspiring piece. I wonder if by the end of his life he had some regrets.
  7. I kind of agree with your point, demo can't replace real experience. However, I was suggesting sim for OP to get the basics of trading. I believe you'll agree that what you're talking about is kind of a next level of trading which fits to a person who already understands the basics.
  8. You sound really pessimistic... Can nothing save this website at all?
  9. Hm, how rare is it to succeed with such a small account in your opinion? Can most traders do this?
  10. Is there a country which people are initially better at trading than others? Japanese, like you've said?
  11. You put it in a kind of a sad way. Like is there really no use for a theoreticall knowledge?
  12. "The uncertainty surrounding the new UK Prime Minister evaporated yesterday as Theresa May became the only candidate, following the withdrawal of Andrea Leadsom. David Cameron will tender his resignation to the Queen on Wednesday after chairing his last Cabinet meeting today. Brexit means Brexit, May has said. The GBP and the FTSE both rallied yesterday with some of the uncertainty over the government, post-Brexit, now out of the way. GBPUSD currently trades significantly north of 1.3000 at 1.3074." Well, it looks like we can at least be certain Brexit will not suddenly change its direction with the new PM on board. Good to know we can be sure about that at least...
  13. My priority when choosing it is how well it corresponds to my needs. For example, if I know I'm about to leave and do will not be able to check my stock too often, I won't go tech or any other hyper-volatile news-dependent scompany, and so on.
  14. Well, seeing how most words of advice and encouragement have already been given here, what I'd like to ask is you to keep us informed what decision you've made and how's your first trades going.
  15. Depends on the market. For example, it's quite easy to do so via equity crowdfunding, but you can't do this with most major exchanges.
  16. Has it found support? So far with all the bad sentiment it could easily go down another $10 or so.
  17. Imo stock market is better both because of volumes, extensive amount of information for any type of trader or investor and, most importantly, some sweet volatility to be able to profit even from fail trades.
  18. Yeah whatever, just gimme some GBP to buy at discount. What's the next lowest PT anyway? Really looking forward to jump in!
  19. You REALLY need a new mic pal. I was interested to watch your vid, but I physically couldn't!
  20. Rofl Czarina, you're quite a necroposter, aren't you?
  21. The question was about a cheap broker, not "what broker to choose?"
  22. Today is a difficult time to answer this. On the one hand, there are obviously huge discounts after Brexit. On the other hand, we are in a 7 years bull market, which puts us in quite a risk of trend turnover. Overall I'd suggest investing in some short-term stocks, but be ready to pull off anytime.
  23. And here we see again how a stupid majority makes a stupid decision which will affect everyone, even those who didn't vote for it. Democracy...
