  1. I suppose I should also add, I am primarily interested in day trading, definitely nothing long term. I've just downloaded thinkorswim, at the behest of some of the posters here (in other threads), and I'm trying to get the hang of it, should be interesting, though it is somewhat intimidating.
  2. Hello All I have to admit I am thrilled to find a community like this online, there is so much quackery available on the internet, this place is like a breath of fresh air. I look forward to becoming an active and contributing member. Here is my situation. I am just starting out, and I have been educating myself. I have a system I have concocted and I want to start simulating some trades, but I have no idea what software would be appropriate for me. My freshly refined system* is going to be based solely on price, market internals and ubiquitous use of support/resistance lines, if that information helps. And I am hoping to primarily trade in the options market. So what sort of software did you guys use for paper trading when you were just starting out? tl;dr Good software for simulations? *My old system was composed of 5 different indicators, however, after having browsed some of the threads here, I now realize what a mistake that was.:crap: So thank you all already!
