  1. Hello,

I have traded day, night and whenever, lost all my trading accounts because of ignorance and lack of self controls with trading rules, and listening to brokers .... bad idea ! But I am seeking a come back and hopefully recover all my losses of 7 years ago and regain my place in the annals of "not a bad day" $$$$$$$

    Thanks

risk management, risk management and risk management

  2. Yes I too wonder if this is right because as a new trader this is not a good figure to look forward to. Maybe it is just a myth to scare people.

But I was reading this persons post...

Do 95% of traders really lose money

He says studies show that mostly day traders get washed out.

Day traders with small accounts mostly that cannot cover the spread long term. This is another good article with analysis:

  3. This is an interesting article but with a little research, traders can avoid these problems. There are many low spread brokers that guarantee their rates. Paying more than 1 pip for EUR/USD is ridiculous at this stage.

I agree but during fast markets they widen spreads and take most of what you save back.

  4. I found this article quite interesting. The idea is that consistent losers do not exit in reality because they could reverse what they do and become consistent winners. The consistent losing is probably due to overtrading and high commission cost and slippage. or even due to destructive behavior or maybe a special situation like being manipulated by a malicious broker.
