  1. I am sorry, I just realized what I forgot to point out...and that is there is no right or wrong way to trade. Trading is a personal endevour that will be successful to you alone once you have developed a strategy, that is consistent to your standards, and you are adequately funded to withstand the times where it is not going your way. In other words, nothing is perfect...and trading IS the perfect example of imperfection.
  2. How about you tell us about your "swing trade" hit rate and win loss ratio. I have a feeling you are grasping to find a comfort zone in your trading. Trading the ES, I am currently running at a 20.17% win rate. That might make you feel a little queezy, but it is very profitable. If you study your price action and charts you might get a clue as to how I trade to achieve the result. Sometimes you can label it a daytading system, like today ...thankyou market, other days it is one hell of a grind, but we achieve our goal (profitability) and await for the next opportunity.. I use an indicator,God forbid!! Predictability is not part of the equation... On the other hand, I also trade a method that is totally random and the is a one day trade, win or loss and that is a lot higher win/loss ratio.
  3. Interesting read. I can see where you are going with this stuff, even though I don't trade that 'style'. Personally, would like a fill at 140475...:missy: Got stuck earlier on flips. Always found that when testing any strategy I apply the 5 consecutive losers to see if it will "fit' with my psyche. If not, it is dead. Kept me out of trouble. Will follow your thread to see how it winds up. Manihi
  4. In my ES set profit strategy I start with 1 contract and increase by one each time it fails to achieve the target.I am starting with zero leverage. Boring ,but safe. The target is net 2 points. The worst sequence is 4 losses;so far;)
  5. Closed my position 141525. Loss 425. I don't carry over the weekend exposures. Rule off and start afresh on Monday. Manihi
  6. Majority of the time is completed in the same day. It is an OCO. Like everything else,Fib is not perfect as everything is just "lines in the sand" and all I am seeking out with these trades is an extensive "reach' in price based on previous days action. Currently running 83.7%. This trade overrides and action I might get in my other strategy which is a net 2 point trade.Running 59.5%.Same day trades. Thanks for your comments though. Manihi
  7. Hi here, I still have a short trade from yesterday 141100 .My profit goal is 140350 with a stop at 141850. The basic strategy is taking tradesc from daily Fib 1.618 . Only get about 7 signals a month but has been very profitable....this may jinx it:helloooo: Manihi
