  1. What i like in this accounts is that they are not PAMMs. They are easier, have more user-friendly interface and usability, and the most important thing is that you can add/remove an investor with 1 click. Perfect, I think.

  2. as a nooby stock swing-trader with a small account, i like relatively low volatility. slow and steady price increases are my best friends.

Exactly my current view of volatility. Unfortunately, I haven't achieved the level of trading skills that would enable me to trade any kind of swings, but I'm stubborn and keep getting into.

  3. You're right, this spread applies only to Rumus platform :(

Their Start FX2, for example, has 0 spread.

I didn't find any special bonuses or other incentives to open an account with them. Do they practice such things?

  4. Have you heard the stories of relative new traders turning their $10K accts into $100K in 1 month, 6 months or a year?

Yeah, such stories are usually posted by either robot sellers of broker representatives.

In the real world it wouldn't happen... Well, actually it could, but the probability of such event would be like 0.00001% or so.

My expectations are not overstated since I'm the realistic person in my general views.

  5. Also the EURUSD spread here is just 3 pips.

    First - 3 pips on EURUSD isn't 'just'. It's a HUGE spread.

Second - FC doesn't have such a spread at all :) I'm also looking information about this broker and I see that it has 2 pip spread on MT4 and 0.6 pip on ActTrader.

  6.

So my idea is to correctly size your trades is to have a thorough money management plan but also understand how you deal with the fluctuations psychologically. For me, they are symbiotic.

    Sorry for the ramble!

    TheNegotiator.

Absolutely agreed. Rules of MM are rules and changing or ignoring them can lead to high consequences.

  7. I believe that my current experience in trading doesn't allow me to ignore S/L.

I've seen quite a lot of examples when people put orders without any stops and the next thing happening was upward/downward spike that eated all of the money.

Maybe sometimes I'll get into locks or other advanced techniques but for now s/l is the best way to limit my risk.
