  1. What kind of BS text quote is that anyway? "stressful times" when he was a kid at 12 years of age, yeah right. Quoting wikipedia always makes you look lazy and incompetent on some level. WDG is always quoted as having been a 33deg mason, a piece of information rehashed over and over by lemmings unable to keep up with information coming to light. WDG only ever held a 3rd deg according to documents in possession of David Burton.
  2. There is a work-around that involves changing a value in the registry.Just google it...
  3. These are known facts for everyone a bit deeper involved in trading PMs than the average joe IMO. While it is a legit question to ask what would happen if there always lacks the other side of that equation which is how large is the percentage out of these trades done by parties that DO intend to NOT just trading paper? Knowing that delivery of the good is well at least questionable why would one do these paper trades instead of buying bullion from the get go?
  4. Such a projection may work in Belize or Liberia, usually the taxman likes to keep quite some pips-at least enough to be taken into consideration.
  5. I dont know about pennants and such, but from the working example it looks like what you measure as first measured move is an instance of price cycle running earlier than time cycle, hence your pennant has to form to "kill" time.Having killed time price then explodes again. This looks pretty symmetrical so the math should be something like after 10% of the time it already had reached 40%to50% percent of price. So time had to catch up. The failed pennant looks way more equal in terms of price and time, actually your first measured move there could be price catching up with time.Based on that the failing pennant might have been foreseeable as there may not have been enough time left. In general I must say I find the "pennant idea" problematical based on time elapsed to "craft" the pennant. This is actually just a slice of time the swing will be based on and from the glance,no study mind you,I might think this "Pennant idea" would work only on specific situations.
  6. It sure is,I watch up to 6deg,but look for cycles definately only below 3.Your shooting examples have a catch:) Your examples all describe objects that have routes in the sense of a ray.Astro in my understanding is about the magnetic field changes evoked by the motion of celestial bodies.More like a Katjusha;)
  7. Its about the orbs,Gann seems to have respected 6deg orbs for example. So a 8 degree orb from a strong aspect has a low probability to cause a cycle, but higher chances to be a turn-date.
  8. Thats out of my league,Bob. I only watch the classical nine planets.Out of my head it is a Mercury-Neptune aspect coming up. I studied the cycles working in silver from its inception in 1933 and the way I see it there are two types of aspects working.First aspects that create cycles, these will not pinpoint a turn-date but mark a beginning of a period of time where one finds hightened energy one way or the other.Second there are aspects that are too weak to create a follow up cycle, these can pinpoint turn-dates.
  9. Bob, the aspect I mentioned early August, the one that caused 2011 High has waned IMO.It fueled three weeks in 2011 and thats about the time it fueled this time, too.Next good aspect is coming after 20/9 so I expect side-ways after this down move has finished. The bigger trend certainly is down. The up-move only touch 25-it should have made it to 26 at least (old bottom)
  10. Hi Bob, I am talking about planetary ones.Dont pay much attention to fundamentals:cool:
  11. Thanks Bob for taking time to warn me about which bank not to be a client of,but always found these big institutions too risky to have any money with them. Silver up-move is guided by the same aspects that brought the high in 2011,but it certainly wont take it where it had been taken back then. Pricewise we are 60deg in the next cycle which I had shown earlier, also today US did not follow through with the up-move so we might take a breather here.Asia should now finish the up-swing the close stopped earlier. If it goes up further next target is around 22.20
  12. Bob thats not so easy what you request.....I think some charting programs can do it,other than that I would create the graphs in excel and produce sort of overlay.
  13. I dont know about Gold, but in Silver Uranus sure plays a role at times.Recent declines were driven by a Mercury-Neptune cycle
  14. Sorry no link....look for ´rare writings of gann´ that contains both
  15. This might become a good thread guys:) The easiest way to get a feeling for Gann is to STUDY his case-studies on US STEEL and AUBURN MOTORS.They show ideas that are easily comprehended and dont need any life-time study of extra-curricula.If you are in to see real Gann you cant avoid studying things that basically dont have any direct connections to trading. This is where I see Gann as unique genious-how he transformed even the strangest of ideas to something trading related.
  16. Thanks Bob Yeah thats the chart I meant:) Volume sure was not what would be needed for a longer up-trend but the move is not over yet IMO.
  17. :helloooo:No not that chart, the one that depicted something like a Gann-Fan.Didnt want you to unveil your method, just wondered if your 21.50 came from that....so never mind:)
  18. Na I meant the red circle you had on a chart a few pages earlier
  19. Bob, how did you come up with 21.50? Your red circle?
  20. I think silver will now crawl up to 21 and then we will see which way it decides to continue.Asia opening tonight will finish the up-move from Friday 20.11 looks like a first target. Bob,I agree with Suntrader in that that gold chart does not look square, the silver one does-check the grid.
  21. Another chart....showing how last years move had been contained by the 1x1 down from the high of 2011
  22. Mit, 5:1 is not an official Gann angle ratio,so I hardly believe in that soccer projection of yours, which mustnt necessarily be the same for your given horsemeat ratio;) So what does the tiny chart show then...well,it is showing price cycles combined with Gann angles from last years major pivots. You can see silver now being restricted by the 1x1 lines basically....the 1x1 going down from the March high builds the lower support line since September when 1x4 going up from July low was the resistance of the Sept/Oct upward move then back to the 1x1 support and rising back to the 1x2 upward in November after which the 1x1 down again built the lower support from which it rose this year to the 1x1 upward from the July low. This shows silver not having the energy now for bigger gains like some mentioned in this thread earlier.Whenever the moves made it through the angles it was the price cycles that ended the moves.
  23. Been a dull week for silver until today, but still lacking energy to drive prices higher
  24. SILVER

    Gann Angles

To be fair and complete you should have mentioned something called scaling. This over and over quoted 1:1 relationship is nothing but a hint from Gann, that is 45 degrees in a square with side length 1 is the bisection line of the square.
  25. Na it is not really "beyond" its still "before":) When Gann says the future is nothing but repitition of the past, what it means is you can get an idea of general trend direction for a certain year out of data from past years. The thing is which years to choose-he left some ideas on that, but no clear cut way. Also once this general trend was crafted he fine-tuned it with astro stuff he never talks about. So strictly I am way before being beyond Gann;)
