  1. Hi, Here's an excellent scanner and backtesting resource :- Stock Screener - Market In&Out - Technical Stock Screener - ETF Stock Screener - Stock Screening Strategy Backtest - Forex Screener This is quite a fast and well-thought out tool that can be used to screen and backtest many technical criteria, investment needs or trading strategies. Backtesting can be performed on accurate historical data. Screening options include price formations, thomas demark, ichimoku, macd & rsi divergences, fibonacci, chart patterns, support/resistance, candlesticks, trendlines, etc. Multiple custom screens may be created and can be saved for future reference. It can be used both for stocks and forex back testing. Hope this is useful! cheers
  2. I just thought I'd share a beautiful example of a bullish engulfing candle on the NYSE in the chart of Aetna, Screen shot enclosed.
  3. You want to trade with the trend - simple! I found this combination of the Parabolic SAR and MACD histogram very useful. Enter long when the Parabolic SAR line moves below the price and the MACD histogram crosses up from negative to positive territory. Go short when the Parabolic SAR line moves above the price line and the MACD histogram moves down from positive to negative territory. Best of luck!
  4. Hi friends, I've just started on forex and wanted to know whether the screeners suggested here also support trend line identification for currency pairs. As they say, "the trend is your friend!" Thanks in advance.
