  1. TheNegotiator - Regarding the 3D graphic i had found that actually gives a visual of what these massive figures being trashed around by these debt laden Ponzi schemes, sorry, governments looks like is via a link. 3D Visualization of the US Debt | USdebt.kleptocracy.us | iTradePod And if anyone wants to question my retracted use of diction check out another one from the bbc The Euro zone debt crisis is beyond repair......They all have run up riddiculous amounts of debt. The Euro web of debt- Who owes who? is what the bbc have labelled it. (Click the country to see what they owe) To me it looks like a Ponzi scheme! Someone please explain!! BBC News - Eurozone debt web: Who owes what to whom?
  2. LoL Negotiator. 1.Desire for wealth - Cant see a problem with that. 2.Desire for recognition - Nothing wrong with this one either, but you start to tred a narrow line. 3.Desire for power over fellow man - If you get here then you will probably end up at 4 4.Desire not to burn in hell - Well what can i say!!!!!! There is a fantastic graphic of what a million $, $10 million, $100 million $ a Trillion actually looks in relation to eg: arctic lorry, statue of liberty. Its insane! I can direct to if moderators will allow and anyones interested.
  3. I am in the cynics camp. The quote that " control a nations money supply and I care not about the laws " springs to mind. The populations of these "Democratic Nations" have been sold down the river or as my deceased friend used to say " sold a six for a nine ".....Don't get me wrong, I like the next man supports the pursuit for wealth and all that is good, hence my pursuit in the markets. But really how much does one man need, want or desire!! It seems like the powers that be are insatiable. Think its contained to Greece and Italy? Take a look at the web of deception in a bbc graphic (euro web of debt-who owes money to who) i saw - the whole of Europe is smeared in this great government ponzi scheme. These guys make Ronnie Biggs look like a good samaritan charity box collector!
  4. I too would suggest that generally a trader avoids trading the news unless you have adequate experience under your belt. Rather an astute trader would be focusing on deciphering how the news is being interpreted by the market. To quote “All media exists to invest our lives with artificial perceptions and arbitrary values” Marshall McLuhan, (1911-1998) With this in mind I believe the news is often a misdirection to what the smart money is doing or simply elaborate chit chat to fill the void of airtime. Got this guide to a trader interpreting the news from an article i read recently:- The following table from an article "How to trade the news" at iTradePod displays the basic news/market sentiment relationship:- [LT Direction News DT Direction Sentiment Indication 1. UP BEARISH UP VERY BULLISH 2 UP BEARISH DOWN NEUTRAL; EXPECTED 3 UP BULLISH UP BULLISH 4 UP BULLISH DOWN VERY BEARISH Hope this helps.
  5. itradepod orgainsed mine, you can purchase the MP for $249 (no monthlys),but you have to email them to sort out the order flow. Hope that helps. How long have you been studying MP?...Have you read Mind over Markets?
  6. Bomberone.....Do you mean the latest version of the Market Profile Software or the Footprint Order Flow?
  7. Good point. What service does MadMarket Scientist recommend? Had a chat with that lot over at iTradePod.com (as i too am in uk) they seem quite genuine. Heard another trader state that if you do not use Market Profile and Order Flow you are greatly limiting your chances of success. What do you think? A little dissapointed that they currently do not have any room availability so I can give them a rigourous road test. Pointed me to their Market Profile A to Z (can be googled) to get up to speed in the meantime. Very useful for whoever wants to get a grip.Any one else had a trial or dealings with them?
  8. Thanks mate, I will check it out
  9. Thanks Negotiator. That would make absolute sense. May observations also lead me to conclude that it is 'Rare' that the IB high and low is the high AND low of any given trading day. I came across an article that said that the Initial Balance is now a somewhat outdated technique as 'gone are the days when floor locals could manipulate the price action of the market'. Any trading rooms that one can recommend that specialize in Market Profile and Order Flow that are actually calling 'Live' trades?
  10. Is this discussion still alive? I also focus my trading method around the Initial Balance..However, I am also mindful (along with the width of the IB) of how the Value Area migration is developing. I have also heard of something related to the Initial Balance referred to as the 95% rule.Anyone familiar with this term? Opinions and views appreciated.
