  1. Odd question... hmmm. The "kiddie table" has already expressed it's views in previous posts; possibly lacking in clarity. There is good personal reason for the lack of clarity though. When it comes to the term "deep state", my view is one of Ignosticism. We (I specifically) have no practical use for the term... Sorry... due to my Ignosticism I have no further insights into "deep state".
  2. This one may fall into the "general bit of irony" folder: June Chu, Yale University Dean, Suspended Over Racist Yelp Reviews Considering this persons position in society, writing "Yelp" reviews may be about as "white trash" as it gets. Just sayin... Edit: Actually, the above may fall into the "we all have too much free time" folder... gotta go... Wapner at 11... fish sticks and tapioca pudding on Fridays.
  3. Yikes... So, you're the most maligned and abused politician in all of history (?) So, there has never been a bigger witch hunt in all of history (?) So, your inauguration was the most attended event in all of history (?) You are Mr.Precedent... hail to the chief (ha!)... Another fine day of price action, but please stop. I recall the campaign promise that things were going to be so good that we would be begging you to stop winning. I didn't think it was going to come true... who knew it would come like this, and from me no less. Man up, and shut up! Too much fun (it's not funny... I mean it)
  4. Actually, James Comey had already surmised that Mr. Precedent was "just saying" in his comments about curtailing the investigation into Flynn... in other words: "He's a good guy... no need to damage him further". Unless there is more to the story (only DJT knows) the spin you want to sell, is that it was all done with the best of intentions, and that if Comey had seen it as anything other... well, then he should have reported it as such (not just written a CYA memo). In other words... diffuse the situation; spread the guilt around. I'm just saying... but, it seems the only defense plausible is: "I was just saying"
  5. HA! Memo to Mr. Zdo: Possibly you should invite DJT to join us here. I see a lot of "I was just saying" in his future. Sorry... it's really not funny... excellent price action today though (please excuse my giddiness).
  6. Exactly... nicely stated Mr. Rappoport... Further still... I have a certain feeling of guilt at watching the story unfold and being amused by it (this is serious in a larger scope, and it's not funny; as James Clapper has pointed out). Watching Precedent Trump reminds me of the Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, or Harold Lloyd silent movies. Extricate yourself from one hapless ill-concieved incident, just to fall into another... and now, on top of it all, we have "tapes". Baffoonery at it's hapless best...
  7. Sorry... just can't stop amusing myself: I'm so happy for Mr. James Comey... it's sweet to watch a master planner at work. And when the plan comes together... so sweet to witness. I bow down... "building a shrine"... I could not (in my small brain) have conceived that one, but "good on ya" dude. Enjoy being out of the public eye... If you think I'm just saying... I'm not.
  8. My heuristics overshot the due date. (365 days X 3) + 250 days (roughly) brings us in at 1345 shopping days left until the next POTUS is sworn in... I'm hoping for a better liar. Just saying... Edit: I do amuse myself (if no one else)... Hillary in 2020... Yea, that's the ticket.
  9. 1400 some odd days... let the countdown begin: I will gladly suffer liars, as long as they are good liars. Tell me a lie that is well conceived and thoughtful in the scope of human nature, circumstance, and general common sense; then cloak it in a bit of good story telling... well, I am at the very least entertained. I must also say that I appreciate that I've been shown that level of respect in such a contrivance. Poor liars, on the other hand... well, it's just tedious. And by the way Mr. Precedent, a child of nine understands that if there are co-liars involved... everyone must have their story straight.
  10. Ha! Peace, love, and the pursuit of happiness... "trade it as you see it". I'm good. BTW... my "near-do-well" comment was referenced to you; not me (LOL). I have far to much "ego" to ever even consider such an admonishment.
  11. I too have no axe to grind with anyone... things play out as they will. I was a bit taken aback by being cast into "off topic land" (a first for me... the conversation actually was "on topic"... just not Wyckoff). If this had been directed specifically by Gamera, then that's cool... sometimes the best response is: "everybody shut the fuck up". Having the decision made by a "moderator" ... well, I don't know... in a basic sense of freedom of expression I find it "odd" (groping for a better word). Of course, if you are publically voicing your struggles, one can't really expect to not hear from near-do-wells expressing an opinion (they just want to help... though often, it's no help at all). End of the day... it is up too you what you allow in, and what you disregard... that's not the moderators task. Just saying...
  12. The lines on the charts that I posted weren't intended to demonstrate anything particular. That's why I said: "I knew this was going to lead to trouble"... I was trying to provide that gentle "bump" that I spoke of. Gamera was (is) missing the broader argument between the buy side / sell side that is occurring in the time frame that he was placing his trades. And here again, the question of "with" and "about". I was trying to avoid the "about", and it may be that I shouldn't have been... it's a fine line.
  13. Cruel... nah; disrespect... hhmmm... nah... I've stated in another thread these words: "I've not learned a damn thing about trading from anyone on this website, save but just a couple of people (you know who you are, because I've thanked you personally)". What I received from those two interactions was not instruction (in the formal sense), but it was just a "bump" that opened up a door to a different way of seeing. Often, that's all it takes is a bump. I've been doing this for 7 years now, yet I'm not so far removed from the struggles that I experienced when beginning (finding my way). A couple of years ago, I took the time to read back through my journal entries from that first 2 years. There were some entries that were brutally honest, and others where I was just shuffling my feet to find a more comfortable space, and still others where I had discovered something new. As I read through some of the posts here, I see much of what I found in my own journal... and I want to help (because I do feel your pain). The truth is though: From my own experience, the process requires a lot of winding, then unwinding and then winding again (the unwinding is the most difficult), and this something that must be done from the inside. For anyone who has read my posts... I'm getting a bit long winded here (running out of words) so I'll close: I rarely get involved in the all too futile task of giving advice; it often does more harm than good, and leads to another misunderstanding that then must be unwound. Occasionally you run across someone who has an axe to grind, or who thinks you're an idiot and will go out of their way to tell you why, but for the most part... people just want to help. Edit: "Bump"... something you already know, but is yet to be realized. Edit 2: As we have been cast into "Off Topic" land, I intend to thoroughly amuse myself (ROFLMAO)... was that chart with all the dots a "bump" or "something else"? Ha! It was probably the last fucking straw. Salute to Mr. Gamera...
  14. I don't believe (if one is honest about human interaction) that "with" or "about" can be separated, but only by a very thin line. For a conversation to be helpful it must drift (swing) across that line at times. My point was that Gamera may want to (prefer to) explore these issues "living in his own skin". Which is where the best answers come from. Edit: Definition for "living in your own skin".... "working it out for yourself"
  15. Ha! I think this the first time I've seen this happen...I am amused... Your time... your money... your life. I'm cool with that... "get on with your bad self"... At the end of the day: It's the best option...
  16. Other than a read through of the DbPhoenix publication, I have not studied SLA/AMT, and I can't comment on that aspect... though from what I recall of the method, it may be that it's being poorly applied. I think zdo was hinting at that previously. Regardless of what method is used, any experienced trader would surmise that Gamera has some issues... missing trades that should be taken, and taking trades that shouldn't be (or trades that have a very short shelf life). It's either method or madness, or a combination of the two, but it's something that Gamera may want to explore "living in his own skin" (so to speak). Edit: btw, not that it matters, but I agree... the lines aren't the story, just the outline for the narrative.
  17. I knew "this" was going to lead to trouble... I have no idea what you are speaking of (action/reaction). I was raised a "feral child"... I have no "names" for anything, and I see things as I see them. As I've said to Gamera: "make of it what you will". My advice would be the same to you. Last word... Edit: My words were a bit abrupt, and for that I apologize. The channel lines that I've exhibited over these few posts are just a reflection of my way of seeing. What I've shown should be self explanatory, in a visual sense, such that one would be able to experiment and draw their own assessments... retain it, shelve it for later, or dismiss it as you will. Hands on learning is the best way... words are a hinder.
  18. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around another 1000 plus days. I'm somewhat reminded of the Kipling story (movie): "The Man Who Would be King". In the context of real life though... his (DJT) falsehoods were obvious from the start (I still can't get past the "birther" thing). Speaking of "kings": One would have to be King to get anything done. Set everyone down, deliver the "come to jesus" speech, and make it clear that "I'm your daddy now". Single payer catastrophic health care for all (based on 10% percent of your income... you pay the first 10%). Such a plan doesn't bruise my libertarian sensibilities (too much), and everyone is covered. A simplified tax code with no carve outs for anyone (I would retain the EIC, but that's it). Corporate tax is a thing of the past... replaced with some form of a VAT. There is more, but for now the "kiddie table" has spoken. DJT hasn't proclaimed it yet, but: "It's good to be King".
  19. Once again, another perspective... My last interruption to the conversation... hth.
  20. Gamera... Just another example of seeing things differently. Considering the lines that I've added to your chart, how may you have traded differently through the session? No need to answer the question here... it's just offered for your consideration.
  21. True dat! Watch my head explode every time I hear: "health care is a right" It may be 'the right thing to do" (that can be debated), and it may even be good for business in general (that too can be debated), but there is no argument for "health care is a right". One could not be more "wrong". Just saying...
  22. For nearly a decade, Chatterjee and other astrophysicists on the thread had been trying to understand the nature of short, superenergetic flashes of radio waves in space. These “fast radio bursts,” or FRBs, last just a few milliseconds, but they are the most luminous radio signals in the universe, powered by as much energy as 500 million suns. Huh, go figure. And here I've been thinking that I pulled trading signals outa-my-ass...
  23. Gamera... The jpeg that I've posted here is not given with the prospect of changing what you are doing, but more in the prospect of seeing the markets (price action) in "another light" (through another person's eyes). Make of "it" what you will... The chart on the left is a 40T chart... the chart on the right is a 1min chart. Both are from the TF contract. I've placed the crosshairs at the open on both charts.
  24. Gamera... I took just enough time to do a cursory read of your past posts in this thread, and I see a pattern in your trading. Without being able to get inside your head (observe your trading day-to-day) I would be reluctant to offer advice... people do what they do, for whatever reason that they do what they do, because they need to do what they do (yikes... that was no help). I've been doing this for a while, and I believe the best answers come from within. In that context I would offer that possibly you may want to try eliminating the "prep work" that you do each day. I think you may be setting up biases that reside in the back of your mind that then influence your trading decisions on the faster chart (the chart you are actually trading). I don't want to say too much in this regard, as too many words often lead to confusion of the message. It's just an observation... nothing more... something to consider. Best of good fortune...
  25. HA! Well... "there you go again" (a quote from another bungling idiot). "Deep state" never crosses my mind, and if I was harping on anything, it was "deep shit" not "deep state"... Though, I would grant that the two phrases may share similar outcomes.
