  1. This is an example of a trade I took earlier using the MT4 platform with feed from Interbank FX. This is a trade on EU. I think the chart explains itself. Price is now testing that high volume pivot line. I already took 55 pips from the market so that is enough for me for today.
  2. Hi, I've been using VSA on Forex for a while now without much problems. My trading results have been way better than when I was trading S/R breakouts. I still use S/R and trendlines for my trading, but my decisions on when to enter and exit are based on VSA. I've been using an MT4 platforma as well without any problems. Sure, Esignal is the best way to go, but if you can't afford to pay $120 monthly for real time date, then you might want to try opening a demo account with Interbank FX, from what I've read elsewhere, it seems to have a good volume data feed, not as accurate as esignal, but pretty similar at times, and should get the job done.
  3. I believe it is a Wide Range Bar. In VSA, the S stands for Spread, which is high - low. Analyzing the spread of the bar is very significant depending on the volume and the location of the bar relative to previous S/R areas. A WRB usually means that the market makers were involved. That's why if you see high volume on a WRB you should become vigilant of what happens next. If it is an upbar, it could mean that the market makers are unloading their positions and price will soon start to drop, you would need to look for weakness in the background and no demand bars, up-thrusts or top reversal to appear before shorting. However, it the WRB pierced through a previous area of resistance, it could mean strength, you would want to look for a test or low volume narrow spread downbars before price resumes the upmove. That is just one example of the role wide range bars play in VSA.
  4. Depends on what you are trading. If you are trading Forex through MT4 you might want to check this out. I personally bought a copy from him a while ago, I received an update a couple days ago and it works pretty nice. You should still learn the concepts though, as the guy says, this is just a visual aid designed to help you determine possible setups more easily.
