  1. one SIM trade (NQ) market reached support from 15TF bar1- 2nd bar reversal bar2- spring bar3- shake out = enter on high of this bar how would you identify bar3? for me there was lighter volume like on bar2 so less supply but higher volume like on two previous bars, so no ''test'' bar...anyway good setup from PA point of view...really nice 123 pattern
  2. bar3- more important for me is VOLUME along with Close of this bar and support very close to this bar, for me it means potential distribution, I would not ''short'' this market based on the lower volume on bar3 compare to bar1. I would wait for distribution and short the market once I see upthrust + No demand bar. But it's me....
  3. today's trade background 60TF- UP trend, market is going to reach rezistance, so I expect that market will touch rezistance, there is a coinsidence with rezistence and upper channel as well, but there is enough place for my profit target 5TF bar1 - Jump across a creek market declines with accordance of low wolume, support is tested with low volume bar2- test bar (narrow spread, very low volume, down bar) = trigger bar
  4. hello all charts from today BACKGROUND: I expected higher pricess in accordance with the reasons below 60 min. TF: market made new low, but was stopped on Support level 15 min. TF: bar 1 - high volume, close in the middle of the bar, next two bars no supply 5 min. TF: bars between bar 1 & 2 no selling presure bar before bar A - pushing through supply bar A- high volume, close off the high bar 3- test bar, did not take this trade because of bar A bar 4 & 5- high volume closes off the highs bar 6&7 - tests - I did not take this trade because of bars 4 & 5 Once I see the bars like A, 4, 5 I always expect change of the trend or congestion...this is my biggest problem...can someone advise? 5tf.doc 15tf.doc 60tf.doc
  5. backround- 60TF UP trend, no selling preassure when marker reach Support line I was looking for long trigers 1 - pushing through supply??? - upthrust to the left - the reason why market hesitate to go UP? 2 - test bar - enter UP second chance to take a trade while two narrowing spread bars with decreased volume were reaching TL
  6. Hi All....my observation from today session from 1 to 3 pm mini NQ 60 min chart...UP trend point1 - lower low, but market refused to go down and accepted this SR level - strenght point2 - higher high, market accepted this SR level again - strenght I was looking for long set up on 5 min chart 5 min chart - no selling presure on SR level up thrust - this was the reason why I did not take this trade test - very nice test acompanied with low volume I must admit that Eiger told true - Up thrust does not work in UP trend and Test does not work in downtrend
  7. Thank you Eiger for the clarification, I'll try to post and share some charts and trades and of course focus more deeply on the backround of the market. thank's
  8. Hello Eiger I'm beginner in VSA trading approach. I'm just trying to paper trade (SIM). Market NQ mini - from 1 pm to 3 pm I read a lot about VSA a can recognize bars like ''no demand, no supply, upthrust etc. but I'm struggling whith these bars in a real time. It's very easy to interpret these bars on the left side of the chart when I can see the right side. I'll try to write down my feelings during a real time. 60 min. chart - market in trading range, I expect the move of the market within this area 10 min. chart - market starts to turn down just on the very strong SR line, 1- upthrust, volume increased, next bar close of the high 2- no supply 3- no demand - I started to think about short position 4- upthrust - I started to think about short position - the low of this bar was not taken 5- wide spread UP bar with ultra high volume - I started to look for no demand or upthrust - short again 6- test but still a lot of supply there - I did not take long position (the wide spead UP bar with ultra high volume was the second reason) 5 min. chart 1- no demand 2- hidden upthrust 3- some demand enters - this is the reason why I did not take short position 4- wide spread UP bar + high volume = weaknes 5- no demand - I wanted to take short position - the low of tis was not taken When I can see the right side of the chart - after the trading session 1o min - chart 1- upthrust, volume increased, next bar close of the high 2- no supply A- some demand enters 3- test with low volume B- supply enters C- second test with low volume 5- pushing through supply- strenght 6- shake out? 5 min. chart 1- test with low volume 2- no supply A- supply enters B- second test with low volume 4- pushing throught supply 5- test with low volume?
