  1. Exactly! Love your comments. Always makes me focus on what I have to do.
  2. Not so sure about the markets but you definitely need a lot of time to trade good. Things don't just happen in that one hour unfortunately when you are free, so you have to keep your eyes on the chart tru the day. I'd suggest EUR/USD for beginning as that market doesn't seem to change in all the sudden like the USD/JPY for example. But I'll keep that answer for the pros.
  3. Right, thank you. I was sort of thinking the same but wasn't sure on how much the initial balance "should" be to be able to trade efficiently.
  4. Agreed. What do you think what is a decent account size?
  5. Well, their package has a bunch of video lessons. After the lessons you get quizzes which I like a lot, because you can test yourself if you just watched them or you actually understood them So far I haven't really used their other services, but one step at a time. Will let you know about more when I get there. Videos are high quality by the way, and very educational.
  6. Nice to see I'm not the only newbie here! Altho I'm only testing the waters, but I'd love to make this sort of hobby my profession. What do you think about the Online Training Academy? Could you tell us more about your experience with them? I've seen mixed reviews about their product, and not sure if it's worth it to follow them.
  7. Looking forward to some new info, if anyone feel like sharing.
  8. Hello, what is the app you mean? I haven't found a free app from Traderslab.
  9. I agree with zdo, if you need to be educated you're not ready to trade. But after all, the education is mostly for beginners who are not ready anyway. I buy education as well, just because I like to have everything in one place and most importantly from a reliable source. Youtube nowadays is just full of opinions, but no real easy to follow guides, or some good tests for example that I like. A well educated person will always be one step ahead in my opinion. Now other thing to mention by the way. You also pay for your time when buying education. Searching the internet for hours is just a pain. You lose time, and you can also get a misconception about trading, which will then again lose more time for you, and could even lose you money. Let me know what you think about my opinion.
  10. This is great, but could anyone name the reasons of why not use a mobile platform? Just to take a few examples from this topic: interface, speed, reliability and security issues. Interface as in iOS or Android, versus a desktop pc with whatever OS? I'd consider a desktop computer more vulnerable, thanks to all the viruses and such. Speed, if you have a phone from the past few years it should run more than just one platform. Reliability comes hand in hand with the speed, but lets take the internet connection in consideration on this one. I think you should use mobile internet with your mobile, rather than public wi-fi's first of all. Then if that is the case you should have a stable connection in the city, and you shouldn't trade on the go anyway. Except if you see a huge losing trade. So what's wrong trading from the couch with a phone? (Don't make it a habit tho, we are talking about serious things..) Now the last one, security. I wonder really, how insecure are the phones if you can even use them to pay with at the shops. I do that every day, and to be honest I even leave my CC at home, just because that is easier to lose than a phone, which you are looking at all the time. Funfact: there are no viruses for android, only misled users. But back to the original issue. If you are using your phone on a secure connection, why is there any concern about security? Downsides? Sure there are, small screen, unoptimised platforms and so on. But if you can handle these, I don't see why not.
  11. Very good post, thank you! I would say in addition however, that this is true for every asset. Be patient and set rules, like the 10 percent. A good example for why it is important to only trade with money you can lose, is that why you perform better in demo accounts. Simply because you are not stressed about losing it. You might make some bold moves but oh well. It was just chips like in free online poker.
  12. Hi everyone! Donald is here, and I'm very excited to be a part of this whole thing. Just recently started learning and trading, so not yet a professional, but lets give it some time I say! I am very passionate about the things I do or did in the past, and hopefully that won't be my fault in this experience. Also every suggestion is welcome!
  13. Trading is challenging in general, but fx is the easiest to start with, no?
  14. Why do you guys think Crypto is not for collecting?
  15. Derrick, I am checking this site you posted, but I am a bit confused. It doesn't seem to be working for me, I only see a disclaimer message. Could you help please?
