It’s my goal in life to help people become better traders and take advantage of the MASSIVE opportunities available in the pennystock world. Below are 8 potential trades and WHY those are potential trades for the coming weeks and months…remember these are not trade recommendations.

STAAR Surgical Company (STAA) is a slow breakout a la EMIS so it’s likely not to do much, but they did pay down debt so this is actually is an improving fundamentally…potential buy for the patient, probably not me.

EnteroMedics, Inc. (ETRM) had the same intraday stair step pattern yesterday as it did two days ago except this time the steps were down instead of up…really amazing similarities though…too bad it’s all for 1-15 cents/share either way, not enough volatility for me, no play.

Blue Dolphin Energy Co. (BDCO) tanked nearly 30% from the get go yesterday with only one spike near the market open as an opportunity to get short…too quick, too little volatility, no thanks, next!

Cowlitz Bancorporation (CWLZ) faded as expected on such negative FDIC news, but somewhat surprisingly there was no panic…that’s what can happen when a company has a market cap of just $2 million or so, all the bad news is priced in…glad to be out of this stock and congrats to everyone for our $45,000+ in profits…one guy claims to have made $65,000, but he disappeared when the chat room asked him to post evidence on Profit.ly….no play now.

Brand Neue Corp (BRNZ) no borrow, no cry, no borrow no cry, the stock from the 1.70 level to 1, exactly as I said it would, but I couldn’t find any shares to short…no borrow no cry, great chart pattern from which to learn.

Abtech Holdings, Inc (ABHD) can and will drop like BRNZ did, but for now someone is DEFINITELY holding this up, intraday tank on huge volume from 2.7 to 2.5 faked some shorts out, but the stock finished at new highs in the 2.77 range, I will not risk being faked out like that, potential short soon, but not yet.

NT MINING CORP (NTMG) jumped another 3 cents/share to new highs as whoever is paying for the pump dumped several hundred thousand shares if not a million shares into the gullible buying…not enough upside to merit a buy, this can and will collapse in the next few weeks/months, but I will wait for the mailers and trading volume to fade before shorting…probably will have to be a bit early to find shares to short, but I don’t know when the top is, anybody is free to email the promoters behind this and ask if they have any cutoff date; you might catch one of them drunk and they’ll tell you!

Lightbridge Corporation (LTBR) had a very impressive press release announcing their invention of a new “nuclear fuel technology” throwing around some big numbers…given their track record of failure and incompetence, it’s probably fluff, but for now its sticking as the stock spiked on the biggest volume its ever had from the 6s to the 9s….its spiked in the past before and never held so this time should be no different, potential short in the next few days, let the momentum run, maybe the CEO can pump up this “news” on CNBC or something to give it some more “stock fuel”…not a new invention, but a very effective promotional tool.
