| Forget Silver ... What is the Next Bullet Train? http://www.traderslaboratory.com/for...re-action.html I'd like to get people to speculate if you will, on the next big mover. I have thought of various products. Corn, Wheat, Soybeans; Platinum; Palladium and more. But I'd like to take a look at Copper. Below is a pit session chart of Copper futures (HG). I think it has some bad ticks although I'm not sure why. It is accurate enough though to take a look at. Two things I am interested in it for. 1- it does a good enough amount of daily volume and the volume is growing. This imo is the case for HG. 2- It is a finite resource used in many goods all around the world. With countries like India/China/Brazil using more and more resources, you can bet copper will be in demand. It is plentiful in supply, but current extraction makes most copper uneconomic at present prices. Take a look at the uses of copper. Just to name a few:- copper wires; pcb's; roofing; plumbing; heat exchanges/sinks and many, many more. I think there will be more demand and with inflation, copper should go through the roof.
