[Soultrader]

The private threads section has been improved to provide more flexibility for the thread starter as well as users interested in joining the discussions.

New features for the private threads section are listed below:

1. Thread starters can now select users or usergroups that have been invited to participate in the thread.



2. Thread starters can now add/remove participating users anytime. This is a significant improvement from the previous version in which the admin could only make these changes.



3. Users interested can now send in a request for invite within the thread selection page.



4. Thread starters can now act like mods within their own threads and can soft delete and edit posts without time limit restrictions.

Perhaps you misunderstood the Private Threads concept. Soultrader just informs here that any forum member can start a private thread and invite selected members to participate.

The existing private threads are listed here:
Invites Only - Traders Laboratory - Professional Traders Community

If you want to be invited to one of them, then you must contact the thread starter of that particular thread, probably by a private message.
Or you can start your own private thread and invite selected individuals.

This is a repost in the other invitee post, just wanting to make sure it gets seen. The question was:

Is it acceptable to post a private journal, that would soley be a book keeping type of affair? Or possibly if one only wanted to invite select individuals?

Or do all journals HAVE to go to the 'traders log' forum?
