Hello everyone,

I've been wandering in the wilderness of trading and investing for 10+ years, self-taught and slowly learning from my mistakes and occasional successes. I became interested in investing/trading once I had enough money in my company 401k to make it possible. I've read a number of books including Safe Strategies for Financial Freedom and Trade Your Way to Financial Freedom by Van K. Tharp, Winning on Wall Street by Martin Zweig, Maverick Investing by Doug Fabian (one of my first), and 30+ more. I've spent untold hours doing research on the internet, finding many interesting articles and discussion at SeekingAlpha.com among ohters. I'm a member of the AAII, American Association of Individual Investors, and subscribe to their Stock Investor Pro stock screening software. I also subscribe to Hulbert's Financial Digest and Fosback's Financial Forecasts. I've split my investment funds into two segments - one for long term investing and one for trading. I am also looking at a program by QUANTEX called Quantex Portfolio Planner. I'm looking forward to exchanging ideas and experiences with other members of Traders Laboratory.
