I work for a raw material import company. Our business is closely related to futures trade and sometimes we are a hedger. Just like futures trade, we can't be sure about where the market will be when our goods are available for sale. It's just risky like futures trade. So, we do a lot of market investigation.

Usually, the futures traders would watch the spot market to adjust their judgment, and the spot market traders would watch the futures price to predict the trend. And the importers would watch more markets to find the unbalance and balance. But ultimately, under the government intervention, it's the consumers and suppliers that largely decide where the market will be.

I come here to learn from you, and maybe offer some info about the spot market.
