CL Gap Down?

My charts are showing a massive gap down in CL 4/10. From 81.10 to 79.60's. And it's saying the gap down happened on 3/14..as in Saturday. What the heck? I verified the chart with a friend of mine and he's showing the same thing.

a $1.00 gap down? On a Saturday? What am I missing?

Re: CL Gap Down?

Something is definitely off here, but it seems like a lot of people are showing data for 3/13. Trying to get to the bottom of it.

Hi Jon,

Who is your data provider?

Best Wishes,

Re: CL Gap Down?

I have had some of these issues also in the past weeks with Zenfire (Rithmic) feed........#*&@%^$!

More reasons why I will be moving over to the TradeVec platform/charting in the weeks ahead through Vcap Futures.....slowly but surely, account by account, should be all transferred over within the next 60 to 90 days (as I complete separate various longer term trades I still have running in NT).

I see the Saturday data using Zen-fire, but I do not see it on my IB feed or my Transact Feed in Sierra. My guess is that there was some funny stuff related to daylight savings - perhaps a server test gone wrong? That is just conjecture, of course. But Zen is the only feed I have where 3/13 data showing is present.

When Globex opens, go to properties and set include weekend data to false. I may be mistaken, but doing so should remove the 3/13 data and allow the proper Globex trade data through.

Best Wishes,

Thales

Care to share how you managed to do that?
