I learn from other website, to calculate pip value e.g for GBP/JPY

(0.01/CURRENT PRICE)*CONTRACT SIZE= AMOUNT PER PIP

What does the "CURRENT PRICE" refer to? BID price or ASK price?

Bid price if you want to sell
Ask price if yo want to buy.

suppose your account is in USD and you want to buy 1 lot (100,000) GBPJPY

you've got
GBPJPY Ticksize = 0.01
pip value = 100,000* 0.01 = 1000 JPY
converted into your account base currency (USD)
1000 / USDJPY ask
