Re: Walter`s Forex "Trend Trades"

And here we have another example of what type of evolutions (optimizations)can be possible thanks to the unresting research souls...

In this case Pyenner has posted a new version of the VMA wich outperforms Igorad 2 and you know what ? it even outperforms VT original version ¡¡

Pyenner vs Igorad 2

Pyenner vs VT

Congratulations Pyenner ¡¡ and thanks for your non easy conformity....

For the sake of simplicity I once again attach the last Pyenner indicator and template... cheers Walter.

Please Pyenner if its not a problem can I open a new thread to play intesive on this variations, I must confess I have a glad mambo and would like to re-organize this last indicators of yours and discuss thourogly about them and the alternatives we can play with them... tell me if there is no problem I will start that right now... cheers Walter.
Agree, it belongs on another thread.
It will take time figure things out with VMA.
This thread needs to progress without being delayed by VMA issues.

Re: Walter`s Forex "Trend Trades"

FantailVMA1 is more like Igorad2+, it is a bit closer to Bemac's flat areas.
I want to do another change to get it closer still in the way it follows a trend.

Re: Walter`s Forex "Trend Trades"

Let me share here some VMAR Icons from today if we used the last version of Pyenner`s superb piece of work...

On the 5 min we se the setupings of this 3 trades...

Now if we used the classic entry timing (so far the balck line crossing the darkgreen line on 1 min) we would have this entries...

now you can see Vmar`s are doing their job... on trend determination as on timing...

I still believe we can optimize more the timing from some other variations I am testing... about exits on next post let me show you an alternative on 5 minutes... cheers Walter.

Re: Walter`s Forex "Trend Trades"

MasterBlaster showed an alternative of trailing exits on the 5 minutes charts... I started to look how this could be done from a VMAR perspective.. and yes its just AWESOME the posibilities we have in order to cash in big moves without any mayor inconvenience in terms of noise... thats why I am still optimizing this exit definitions as I believe we can come up with something better yet...

on this charts you can see the previous three trades having an exit on the first Thick Lime line on the 5 min charts... bars crossing this Lime Thick line (first line after yellow band )...

thats an idea to cash longer exits wich equals better RRR... cheers Walter.
