1 Month of Data of Any Symbol Needed

Hi Guys,

I am about to start a small project of comparing different platforms with regard to their accuracy in charting (bar thickness and bar spacing) on all possible time resolutions.

For this purpose I need 1 month data in ASCII file of one symbol, any symbol: ES, NQ or FDAX or yet another symbol. Data can be in ticks or 1 minute.

Preferably in format:

Date Time O H L C V

Could you pease tell me where I can download such historical data? I will be comfortable with any year: 2005 / 2006 / 2007 / 2008 / 2009 and with any month.

There are a number of online data vendors. And there are some threads floating around here with suggestions.

A quick way to get what you need is signup for eSignal data for 1 month, grab everything you want and then cancel. You could do that right now and have what you need by the end of business today if you wanted.

Or did you just want the data for free?

There's another forum and I can't give out the URL because it's probably against forum policy, but let's just say it's run by a Big guy named Mike who trades...if you become a VIP member, you can download historical data from their forums.
