Market Profile and Equities?

Hello, first time poster here. I've read Dalton's Mind Over Markets a few times and have studied some other Market Profile resources. I have used the MP as a guideline for trading the YM and ES in the past. I was wondering if it is applicable to equities as well? I've experimented with a stock or two and the Profile seems to work okay. Anyone have any experience with MP and stocks?

I dont trade equities but I have seen other traders use MP with NYSE stocks.

Yea i'm in my 1st year of trading stocks now and so I havent made gigantic amounts of money to be able to afford all the best platforms out there so I rely on EOD data etc. I plot the days course of sales data into excel and use it to do a very rudimentary MP of the days action. I combine it along with daily and monthly pivot points along with volume action to get an idea of how the day or week will go cause atm im just swing trading. It work's relatively well but I don't trust the data that comes out of equities markets as much cause they're much more open to manipulation.
