Upcoming Changes: Website Updates

I wanted to post an official announcement on the progress of our website changes. Some of you may be familiar with our ongoing development and improvement on the site. We have been in development for over 1.5 months now. Our design is 80% complete and we are currently testing it out in preperation of an official relaunch.

Here are some information regarding what to expect. Some of these features have been recently already.

1. Interactive Profiles (added recently)

This is a user to user based commenting and buddy system. Very similar to myspace. Each member should now see an enhanced user profile.

• Default avatars for people with no avatar
• Myspace-Style "Friend Requests" with ability to accept / decline
• Friendster-Style profile field highlights - keywords become clickable links that can be used for search purposes
• Comment Numbers w/ Links to Individual Comments
• New Comment E-Mail Notification
• Friend Request E-Mail Notification
• Friend Request Response E-Mail Notification
• E-Mail Notifications can be turned On and Off
• Pagination support in friend space and comments
• Morphed, more compact member info layout with avatar support
• Member Profile Ratings, Also Displayed in Posts.
• Who Rated Member w/ Access Permissions
• Who Viewed Member w/ Access Permissions
• Last Profile Update in memberinfo

2. TraderDNA Integration

We will be including a subscription based portal from TraderDNA.com. This is a collaboration between Traders Laboratory and TraderDNA. Members will be available to access TraderDNA through a direct portal.

3. Fibonacci Calculator

A simple fibonacci ratio calculator to go along with our pivot point calculator.

4. Custom Avatars (added recently)

Over 100 custom avatars and more to follow.

5. Favorite Threads Column

Members will now be able to mark their personal favorite threads. Favorite threads will appear in a collapsible box in the right hand column. Users have the option to manage this box by adding and removing favorite threads.

6. Thread Ratings and Color (added recently. Available on IE and Firefox only for thread coloring)

Ability to rate individual threads using the up and down arrows. Also, hot threads, posted threads, and read threads are now highlighted with a different color.

More Planned Features...

1. Enhanced Indicator Forum

This will create an about the developer section with homepage links, donation box, etc...

2. User Credibility/Reputation System

A point system where traders can earn credibility on their posts.

3. Further enhanced profile system

Similar to the bodyspace portal where users can keep trade data and plot graphs.
