Database Error.... Spam Attack
Dear traders,
Last night we encountered a spam attack of over 10gigs which crashed our database. After 12 hours, we were able to fix the problems. My apologies for the inconvenience and I am looking into preventing this in the future from happening again. Regards, James

That is definitely not from this site. You may need to scan your comp for spyware as it seems it may be affected. Possibly through a malicious site. Our site is safe as our core files are heavily protected. Any pop ad format is pretty impossible to do through our system unless we customize it. Do you have Windows Defender? Try scanning it and figuring out what sort of spyware is affecting your comp. You should be able to determine which site may have done this. Thanks

Yes... I had been using an online dictionary.. maybe that was the site that made that... I will anyway scan my pc again... cheers Walter.

Not sure where but I picked up some spyware recently. Had the devils own job to shift it (knock on wood its gone now). Adaware didnt manage it ...cant remember the name of the thing I finally used it wasnt this PC. Post or PM me if you have issues cleaning up.....some stuff is pretty stubborn!

Just for those interested it was Spybot search and destroy I used it succeeded where Adaware had failed!
I use a MacBook Pro when travelling but I guess booting Windows leaves it open hehe. Actually that just got a clean install after re-bootcamping the disc (more space to Windows sadly). Those games eat up disc space :-)

I use Spybot, ad-aware, and yahoo anti-spy for quite a while now, no problem so far.
