My Favorite Trading Quote

"A losing trader can do little to transform himself into a winning trader. A losing trader is not going to want to transform himself. That's the kind of thing winning traders do." -Ed Seykota- from Market Wizards

This is my all-time favorite quote. Simple but very true. Do you have what it takes to become a trader?

Another quote from the same book:

"You don't always have to be in the market. Don't trade if you don't feel like it or if trading just doesn't feel right for whatever reason. To win at the markets you need confidence as well as the desire to trade. I believe the exceptional traders have these two traits most of the time; for the rest of us, they may come together only on an occasional basis."

Another great quote:

"There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve - the fear of failure."

Re: My Favorite Trading Quote

I guess there are two that I quite like:

1) "The system wasn't designed so that most people could beat it!" and

2) "If you find yourself in the bottom of a deep hole, the first thing to do is stop digging!"

Happy Trading
