Sickest Stop-Outs

This thread is to post the sickest stop-outs. pretty self-explanatory.

note: yes, you get your share of sick fills where the trade isn't a good one but you get lucky on the exit. I am not starting a thread for those. This thread is just to bask in the 'pain-trades' -- the ones that drive you crazy. The ones that you just can't get out of your head. The ones where you feel cursed. Need I go on? Bring on the PAIN!

Re: Sickest Stop-Outs

Here's friday's action in the british pound futures.
I tried to pick a bottom after a volatility breakout, so it could have been a lot worse. Newbie stuff.
The one that got away.

P.S.: There's a 0 missing after the comma, my apologies. Nevertheless missed a max profit of 400 ticks within one day by 3-4 ticks(taking bid/offer spread into account).

Sparrow:
About the worst trading advice (myth) out there is 'Buy low, sell high'. This encourages picking tops and bottoms. Far better advice is to "Buy a rising share, sell a falling share".

Thanks for the advice, i know i still got a lot to learn, hope it's not too late yet.
Trading in the USD crosses is getting choppier now, it was easy to be a genius for a couple of weeks.

Exclamation Re: Sickest Stop-Outs

To err is human.
This one had me chuckling for the rest of the day. My OSO settings were wrong when I placed the trade and I didn't realize till it was too late.
